Las Palmas Oceanfront Sanctuary offers its guests 3 villas & 5 casitas, with a total of 18 guest-rooms & 28 bathrooms that sleep 36-50 guests, 4 infinity pools, 6 rooftop terraces, a large common palapa & pool area that seats 50-100 guests, meal service, beach access, daily maid service, onsite concierge and much more!

Within the sanctuary there are multiple picturesque locations for the ceremony, photos, cocktail-hour and reception for you to choose from. The best part about Las Palmas is we block off the entire resort for your wedding/event and we never host more than 1 wedding/event at a time, meaning; all of the guests are your friends & family, you will never share the ceremony site with another bride or wedding party/event and there is no “closing time” which makes for a very intimate setting to truly relax and enjoy your big day!

Each of the 3 stunning oceanfront villas include; 4 spacious bedrooms with king beds & ensuite bathrooms and AC (1 of the villas has a small 5th bedroom), ocean view kitchen & living room, seated dining for 10, indoor & outdoor bar, tropical gardens, private outdoor terrace & palapa BBQ area next to the pool (sleeps 8 adults + 2-4 children).

Each of the 5 ocean view casitas offer; AC, 1 bedroom with king bed + day or single bed (sleeps 2 adults + 2 children), 2 full bathrooms, small kitchen, bar area, living room, dining for 4, tropical gardens, two ocean view terraces, roof-top ocean view decks.

There are two beaches within close walking distance (200-500 meters), one is very secluded and the other filled with seafood restaurants and clear blue water perfect for snorkeling.

Our bilingual on-site concierge can help with any accommodation or translation issues. If you wish to have prepared meals, planned excursions, private massages, restaurant reservations, local information, etc. we will be happy to assist with the arrangements.

Fantastic location for a team retreat

This property is incredible. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our entire stay. Each meal was made with fresh, quality ingredients by the kitchen staff; we all looked forward to the meals. The view is unbeatable. Overall, I would recommend this for a retreat location for smaller companies.

Amazing!!

We had our wedding here, invited about 40+ guests! And they said this was the best vacation and wedding they've ever been to! Photos do not do this place justice!! I would come back and rent the Villa's separately anytime! Talina is amazing, helped me plan this wedding for almost a year. Loved it! 1000000/10

Gorgeous Location & Great Service!

We stayed here for my daughter's destination wedding with just enough family & friends to book the entire resort. We had an absolutely fabulous time and were so impressed with the gorgeous villas/casitas, infinity pools, incredible views and great service. It was so nice to have a private venue for just our group. All of our requests were met, we were able to provide specific meals to our guests onsite with resort cooks, and the concierge helped us plan an awesome boat trip on a yacht. The only downside we had to deal with was the heat/humidity in August and the mosquitos--none of which was under the control of the resort--but it was worth all of the other features of this great property!

Wonderful family holiday

The location, physical space and staff of Las Palmas were perfect for our big family (27j vacation! The layout worked very well for us and the views were spectacular! Luis, Oscar and all the housekeeping and kitchen staff took excellent care of us. We did a catamaran trip and waterfall tour, learned about and released sea turtles, rode ATVs and horses, surfed, took a fabulous cooking class, zip lined and so much more! We loved Huatulco for relaxing, exploring and having fun! Two drawbacks. First was the need for cash, either pesos or dollars, for our activities. A 27-member family having fun for a week involved lots of arrangements with other vendors, including transportation. It all went smoothly but having to pay for everything in advance with cash was annoying at best. It’s not the resort’s fault because the small activity vendors don’t take credit cards but it was a huge hassle. The second was beach access, specifically the location on the cliff above the small beach. The path down to it was somewhat challenging for the younger people but treacherous, impossible really, for older people. The alternative was a nearby, walkable public beach but our time there was during Mexican public school vacation and it was mobbed with dozens of local tour buses from 7 am. So yes, there is beach access but it’s not great. The resort has four beautiful pools so that somewhat made up for the beach issues. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend Las Palmas!

I understand the frustration of having to pay the local vendors in cash and we are actively working on that issue. Violin Beach (just below Las Palmas) is part of the Huatulco National Park and therefore we are not allowed to modify the path to the beach in anyway; I wish that we were able to build stairs or reinforce the path to make the access easier for our guests but we are not. Regarding La Entrega Beach (on the other side of Las Palmas) you are correct its accessibility and calm clear waters make it a favorite beach for tourists and locals alike and while it is popular year round it is over crowded during the Christmas/New Years Holiday as well as Easter week. Another wonderful holiday at Las Palmas!

We had a fabulous week at Las Palmas again... our fourth time! The weather was perfect (as it always is in Huatulco!), the resort is beautifully maintained and the staff are very eager to help! The views are breathtaking! We enjoy that we can take a quick cab ride into town... even walked in a few times. Each morning we'd head down to the beach and soak up the sun at our own secluded paradise. In the afternoon we'd sit near the infinity pool or on our deck...very peaceful. We'll be back again some day!

Best warm vacation we've had

We came for a week to celebrate our 30th anniversary at a quiet site. We received accurate information from management and staff prior to our arrival and were perfectly delighted with our experience at Las Palmas. We stayed in Spanish Bay Casita - loved the walkout infinity pool and stood in awe on our balcony overlooking Bahia Violin. We could be as busy going places or as quiet as we wanted every day. The onsite cook provided fabulous food, and depending on the places we ate at in some of the nearby towns, food was also authentically Mexican, plentiful, and delicious. We met all of the other guests, some of whom have been returning annually since its opening in 2006. No better advertising than happy, return customers. We loved it here - couldn't have scripted it better. Beaches, water, pools, cleanliness, service, safety, security, value - it's all here!

Great Views - Great Staff

My husband & I stayed at Las Palmas from Nov. 14-21, 2011. This is a great place for a vacation for just 2 people or your whole family. The villas are private and provide a perfect family getaway. The views are specticular and the resort is beautiful as well. The staff keep everything clean and looking great - from housekeeping to the gardener. The best amenity of the resort are the infinity pools. You can sit in them and look over the edge at the bays or turn and admire the beautiful palm trees and flowers of the resort. There is always someone at the main desk that can help you book a taxi or an excursion. Language is not a barrier with the main desk people. The local beach is only a 5 min. walk away, and the town of Santa Cruz is close enough to walk or take a taxi. We would highly recommend Las Palmas to anyone that appreciates a quiet relaxing beautiful vacation. If you go there, say "Hello" to Lucy!

Las Palmas is Paradise

Both the staff and the accommodations were world class. This was the best family reunion that we have ever had. The town of Hualtulco and whole area is very laid back and friendly. Having not traveled to Mexico before and knowing very little spanish, alongside the recent news headlines, we were slightly concerned about traveling to Mexico, however we felt very safe the entire time and we are already looking forward to returning next year. Although relaxing was on the top of our agenda, there is a plethora of activities for all ages year round. We went ATVing, Fishing, Snorleking, but the highlight was watching the Leatherback Turtles hatch live on the beach, an experience that i will never forget.

Perfect Family and Friends Getaway and Destination Wedding!!”

Las Palmas Villas will never disappoint even the harshest of critics! My husband and I just returned from our destination wedding and amazing weeklong vacation with our family and friends. Las Palmas is even more beautiful than the pictures are able to capture. The amount of detail Ron, the owner, put into designing Las Palmas is unbelievable. I could never have dreamed up a more perfect place for a destination wedding. The location of Las Palmas is on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Violin Beach. The beach below the resort was beautiful and my guests enjoyed morning swims, afternoon snorkels, and even the daily workouts by climbing up the hill back to Las Palmas. Well worth the hike down to the beach! Other guests enjoyed Entrega Beach, which is a 5 min walk down the main road and Bocana Beach for the amazingly big waves. There is so much to offer in Huatulco. This vacation was so memorable not only because we were married in Huatulco, but also because we were able to spend so much quailty time with our families at Las Palmas. Our villas and casitas are located near the light house in a very secluded area of Huatulco where you can truly escape the stress of daily life and enjoy the sights & sounds of nature combined with the luxury & comfort of our 5 star service & location.
