Only 1.7 miles away lies Cape Cornwall, home to Priests Cove and scattered with remnants of the region’s tin mining past. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is rich in wildlife, seals are a common sight, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a basking shark. The dramatic coastal trails wind along the rugged cliffs, dotted with hidden caves once used by smugglers.

Lands’ End, the UK’s furthest point west, is just 4 miles away and a favourite with birdwatchers hoping to catch a glimpse of rare species. Attractions here include Greeb Farm, where little ones can meet and feed friendly animals.
