Quintessential Italy
Villa Grazia is a charming place to make your home base as you explore the area around Mosso Santa Maria and the greater Piedmont region. The kitchen is fully equipped and I spent several mornings watching the sun come up and listening to the town's church bells while I ate breakfast. The living room has a comfortable couch and a TV that provides all the channels you could want, including several in English. The bedrooms are well appointed (one with a king bed and the other with two twins) and very comfortable. The bathroom, which includes a washing machine, had all the necessities - but make sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. We left the windows open for airflow at night and were comfortable, but there is no AC.We explored much of the neighboring countryside including the Oasi Zegna highway which offers many hairpin turns and steep drop offs to one side and absolutely breathtaking views. There is excellent hiking in the Oasi and we hope to come back to explore more of the area. Finally, I would be remiss in not mentioning our outstanding host who was very welcoming and accommodating and helped us navigate VRBO when we wanted to extend our trip by one day. If you are looking for a beautifully appointed apartment that can easily house a family of four in a quiet environment in a charming village, then Villa Grazia is a great option for you.
