Super place to stay!

Great place to stay while visiting Montana! Phyllis was an awesome host. She made us feel so at home. We were there to visit Glacier National Park and she was helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend staying here.

Great space in a great location to use as a base to explore the amazing Rocky Mountain Front. Phyllis was a fantastic host and very responsive to any and all questions and or requests. We would (and will) stay there again in a heartbeat. Love the "laughing" ducks.

Cozy Getaway

The home was very clean and comfortably furnished - the bed was very comfortable. We were in town to visit family and attend a football game. The host contacted us during our stay to see if we needed anything, and was close by if we did. We will definitely stay here again.

Just what we were looking for...

This property was clean, cozy, and perfect for a sister's getaway. We wanted something that wasn't too pricey and close enough to the mountains for a day of hiking and exploring. We also explored the very small downtown of Choteau and enjoyed the little museum and farmers market as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place and host

The accommodations were very comfortable and homey. Our stay was much longer than the normal stay and our host was wonderful throughout the whole time. She was very understanding when we had to let family use the shower and laundry facilities. (This was due to slow progress on their house construction.) I would recommend this cottage as a great place to vacation.

Comfortable stay during family funeral

We needed to attend a funeral in Choteau during a local art auction and event so places to stay were in high demand. Fortunately we found Phillis' place. It ended up being so spacious, beautiful and peaceful. The pictures do not do it justice. If we are in the area again, it will be our first choice.

Property was very clean with newer appliances and furniture. Everything worked very well. Location was convenient and quit. Phyliss (property owner) was an excellent resource for any questions we had during our 2 week stay. Thank you so much Phyliss, we really enjoyed our time in Montana.

Stay here in Choteau!

This is a wonderful VRBO rental. We stayed here in August when the weather was hot. The house was very comfortable, shaded. All amenities are provided, well-equipped kitchen, good WiFi, etc. Just what you’d expect from a top-notch rental like this. It’s also close to town, but very quiet. I highly recommend this rental and Phyllis just makes it so easy!

I'm originally from IL and owned a vacation home along the Mississippi River. The outdoors is my playground and Montana has the BEST! I love this house and the location, but it is way too big for me. So..l decided to share it with others who want a comfy, home-like place to stay while travelling in the Best Last Place.

Why they chose this property

I purchased this home to be close to my family and granchildren. The grandkids have grown and I don't need this much space. It's time to share the experience.

What makes this property unique

Only 5 blocks from downtown, but kind of secluded with a nice atmostphere and spring creek that runs through it. Enjoy the birds and sometimes ducks who stop by for a drink. Just 90 miles from Glacier National Park and about 30 to the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Freezeout Wildlife preserve is just a few miles south. The small town of Choteau has everything you will want including a golf course, public swimming pool and restaurants and bars.
