This self-catering apartment is fully furnished and decorated to an excellent standard, ensuring your stay in Edinburgh is as cosy as possible. The comfortable sofas and TV in the living room also make the perfect combination for a family film night!

The property was clean and safe. As this was our first international stay through VRBO, safety and cleanliness were our top priorities. The host was welcoming and informative, responding promptly to all our questions. The property was exactly as described and provided ample space for our party of three adults.We used Uber to get to the airport and Royal Mile area. I think it was a 15 minute ride either place. Which was expected.

The description of the property location was inaccurate. For instance, the Castle is 5.9 mile, Royal Mile 6.4 miles, Grass Market 5.2 miles, University 6 miles. We had planned to walk most places. We did take the tram but it was quite a walk to the condo with luggage from the Tram stop....it was not at the door. The bus did stop right at the building and runs on the hour to Edinburgh downtown.The description also states that there are 2 king size beds yet they are king size.Access to the apartment and building the first time had to be in person with the renter for the first entrance which makes scheduling somewhat difficult for those unfamiliar with the city and the confusion of the distance to the condo.The condo would be better for someone with a car or who did not care about being within walking distances.

First thing is the address, it is a building behind from the front street. You have to go behind to a parking lot and walk around the dentist office and the front door is beside the hair dressing salon. They don't have TV channels only You tube, Netflix (your own sign in). There is a black box on the floor under the TV that you have to push to get the WIFI to work first. There aren't many pots and pans, only 2 wine goblets and the cutlery is pretty cheap. No instructions on how to use anything and no leaflets or brochures on what is in the immediate area (ie to eat, grocery stores, tram where abouts). There is no space in either washroom to put anything or hang anything. Also if you can't do stairs do not stay here. There is a set of stair to get up to the apartment in the first place then two of the bedrooms are another flight of steps. The washing machine is in a closet, and the heated air dryer is the in the front closet. We had to go searching. The nice thing was the parking was free and it was close to all freeways.,
