The beautiful village of Kalamitsi is one of the oldest settlements of the island, built on the slope of the Rachi mountain range and south of Agios Nikitas, in a spot that was not visible from the sea, to avoid pirate raids. It is located 23 km southeast of the town of Lefkada.
