great location, quiet, and spotless
everything we needed! fun neighborhood! We loved it!
Quant and convenient!
The apartment was very clean and well designed, with the amenities you would expect in a modern home. A close walk to lots of great food!
Very Very Pleased
The apartment was a wonderful, and affordable, alternative to a hotel. We were able to walk everywhere - the park, botanical garden, and restaurants. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful, and the apartment itself was clean and comfortable.
Christopher was a great host, and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable.
I will definitely recommend Christopher's apartment to family and friends.
Thank you Christopher !
Clean and Comfortable - a little misleading
The front door shown in the pictures is the front door to the main house, NOT the basement apartment. I thought I was in the wrong place at first. The door to the apartment is down narrow concrete stairs, with tons of spider webs and flies. The "security screen door" has no screen, just bars! A little like prison. I felt as though that was very misleading; however, once in the apartment, it was very clean and comfortable and quirky. The neighborhood is fantastic, just be prepared to have to find a parking spot and then parallel park once you find one as that is the only kind of parking there is!
The owner was GREAT. Checked on me and responded to inquiries very quickly. I would stay here again IF the stairwell downstairs was given a little TLC!
Our home is situated one block from Cheesman Park on a tree lined street with historic mansions and stunning architecture. The apartment has its own private entrance and patio pictured in our listing. Thanks for choosing to stay with us!
Sweet place, great location
Basement apartment was clean and bright. I loved the artwork and retro touches. Bed was very comfortable. Location is awesome. My friend and I like to walk and had no trouble walking to Botanic Gardens, Trader Joe's, History Colorado Center, and Nature and Science Museum. Neighborhood is extensive, attractive, and very walkable. Lots of restaurant options within a few blocks. The apartment is not for tall people - over 6 feet might be scrunched. My friend and I found the very friendly and forward black cat on the premises to be irresistible and let Kitty inside the apartment - just sayin' in case others have cat allergies. Lock box worked but took some perseverance. Only suggestion for improvement I have would be to add a lamp or sconce light so that tenants don't have to turn on the full "airport runway" lights in the kitchen/living area if they don't want/need that much light. In sum, I will try to book this place again if I need to stay in Denver again.
Bright, spotless, and spacious. Walk everywhere from this historic charmer!
This cozy spot in an historic neighborhood was perfect for a visit to downtown Denver and my young adult kids. It was an easy walk to the Botanic Gardens, the Denver Museum of Art, restaurants and groceries, and the Capitol. The downstairs apartment is very clean, tastefully decorated with vintage appliances and furniture, and surprisingly spacious. Christopher was welcoming and helpful.
I'll be recommending this affordable spot to friends who have kids in Denver, and will hope to stay here again and again.
