The Space:

Malton Pines is a modern and welcoming two-bedroom, two-bathroom lodge. Ideal for families, couples, or friends, this stylish retreat combines contemporary comfort with a tranquil countryside setting, offering the perfect base for a relaxing getaway or exploring the scenic North Yorkshire countryside. With the addition of a sofa bed, the occupancy of the lodge can sleep a maximum of six guests.

Inside, Malton Pines features a bright open-plan living and dining area, designed for both comfort and practicality. The cosy lounge is perfect for relaxing with a book or watching a film, while the dining area provides a comfortable space for meals or games. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and frame the beautiful lake and countryside views, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere.



The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and everything you need to prepare breakfasts, snacks, or evening meals. Both bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished with soft linens and comfortable beds, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Two modern bathrooms provide showers, baths, and fresh towels, making your stay convenient and stress-free.



Outside, Malton Pines boasts a private terrace or patio where guests can enjoy morning coffee, evening drinks, or simply take in the tranquil surroundings. On-site parking adds convenience, while the quiet rural location allows for a peaceful and restorative escape.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on the day of arrival.



Access Details will be provided prior to checking in at the property.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay. There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.

Nestled in the peaceful village of Amotherby, this property offers a charming countryside escape just a few minutes’ drive from historic Malton. Enjoy scenic walks along quiet lanes, local pubs, and easy access to nearby villages. By car, you’re well-connected to Malton, Helmsley, and the A64 for exploring North Yorkshire. For public transport, local buses link to Malton, where you can catch trains to York, Scarborough, and beyond, making it easy to explore the region without a car.

Amotherby is a small rural village, so getting around is easiest with a mix of car travel and local transport: Travelling by car will be the most convenient option for your stay, allowing easy access to nearby towns such as Malton (around 5 minutes away), Pickering, Helmsley and the North York Moors. Bus services run between Amotherby and Malton, where you can connect to wider routes across North Yorkshire. Malton also has a train station with regular services to York, Scarborough and Leeds. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, with scenic lanes and footpaths linking nearby villages. This is a great way to explore locally, though distances can be longer between amenities. Local taxi services operate from Malton, Pickering and surrounding villages. Taxi's are an option for evenings out or for those who travel without a car.
