Ever dreamed of spending a fantastic alpine vacation in a house as old as the US? Les Iles 1776 is made for you! Located in the higher end of the valley with excellent access to the lifts, it is a villa set in a renovated 18th century farmhouse, 4 miles away from the town of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. It is within 1 mile of the ski lifts Lognan and Joran to access Les Grand Montets Ski Resort, and 2.3 miles of La Flegere Cable Car and the golf club. Featuring views of Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi, the villa also offers a seating area, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. A flat-screen 3D TV with cable channels and a Blu-ray DVD player is provided. Guests benefit from free WiFi in the whole house. This 2,150 ft2 large property with big rooms offers all the modern comfort with 4 private bathrooms fitted with a bathtub and/or a walk-in shower, underfloor heating and ski boot dryers. In summer, you can take advantage of the garden and the swimming pool, cooking on the BBQ and dining on the big terrace. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including skiing, golfing and hiking. A bus stop can be found some 40m very close to the house. A large private parking is available on site. The closest shops are at less than 0.2 miles.
All inclusive! The price already includes the provision of additional services usually charged separately, like bed linen and towels and laundry / cleaning after you check out. It also includes local tourist tax. Upon your arrival you will be provided with the “Chamonix carte d’hôte” (guest card) which grants you discounts for transportation and other services in the valley.
Cleaning during your stay is not included in the price. However, if you need cleaning services, we can arrange this (additional fees). In any case, our robot Roger will be glad to assist you in keeping the house as clean as possible while you are away skiing and wandering in the mountains or in town.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 have ensuite bathrooms. There are two other separate bathrooms, a small one on the first floor with shower and sink, and a very large one on the second floor with bathtub, large shower and two wash basins. All bathrooms have their own toilet.
After you book with us, you will be requested to inform us of your preferences regarding single and double beds. The main master bedroom has a large double bed (king-size / 180x200 cm). All other 4 bedrooms have single beds (80x200 cm) which can be made double (queen size) upon your convenience.
There are currently 2 hives in the garden! Our bees contribute to the pollination process in the area. This is our modest contribution to biodiversity :). They are of course inactive in winter. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions about it.

My main motivation that led me to buy this property was to combine old and modern. Les Iles 1776 used to be part of an old farm, now almost 250 years old, with a charm and aesthetic that leaves a unique impression on visitors. Built in 1776, as old as the USA!! It was renovated on numerous occasions, most recently and fully in 2013-14 – with continuous improvements since then – and now provides for all the comfort that can be found in any modern accommodation. This, combined with large rooms and a full equipment (4* certified), as well as one of the greatest locations in the valley, helps to guarantee the best possible vacation to our guests, whether in winter or in summer.
