Beautiful 4 bed rural Gite sleeps 10 with pool
Our beautiful 4-bedroom gîte is tastefully presented in a quiet, private rural setting, perfect for families and friends to gather, relax, and enjoy each other's company.
We provide everything needed for a wonderful stay, with clean, comfortable, and stylish living areas, a well-equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms with blackout blinds and quality linens, and a fabulous garden with plenty of relaxing spots to enjoy the beautiful Charente sunshine.
Our new in-ground pool has plenty of sun loungers (beach towels provided) and a large open covered barn with a self-stocked bar, seating, and activities to chill out, plus free fast fibre Wi-Fi throughout and secure parking.
Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, baby gate, and pool alarm are all standard.
House of the Hollyhocks is ideally located near local amenities, with shops and supermarkets a short drive away.
Discover one of France’s most loved regions, offering plenty to see and do, from exploring charming harbours and seaside villages, walking or cycling through local vineyards, visiting nearby towns, markets and festivals, to dining in excellent restaurants.
Two fabulous lake beaches are nearby, and the sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast are easily reached by car:
Royan (82km), Arcachon (124km), La Rochelle (146km), Île de Ré (124km), Île d'Oléron (171km).

Bordeaux – historic town and home of wine, with Europe’s longest shopping street!
Cognac – beautiful, rich in history, with plenty of places to eat and drink
Angoulême – a lovely city to explore, known for vintage car racing around its ramparts (usually 3rd weekend in September)

Saintes – featuring a Roman amphitheatre and abbey
