From this high-altitude log cabin, you can enjoy fantastic views of Gudbrandsdalen's majestic mountains and valleys. Here, at the end of a quiet country road, a unique experience awaits where historic surroundings meet modern comfort.
The main house is a log cabin that has been decorated with respect for history, while offering all modern conveniences. From the cozy living room you can admire both the beautiful cultural landscape of the valley and the historic yard, while daylight streams in from sunrise to sunset. There are 8 beds in the main house, where one of the beds is best suited to a child, as the bed is slightly shorter in length.
The historic yard consists of several authentic buildings, with the barn from 1722 being the oldest. Here, you can wander between the buildings and feel the rush of history, while enjoying the peace and privacy that the location offers.
With only a 15-minute drive to Rondane National Park and an hour to Jotunheimen, this is a perfect base for hiking. You can explore the stave churches in Ringebu, Vågå and Lom, or take a day trip to Geiranger. For the more adventurous, river rafting in Sjoa is just 30 minutes away.
