You will be staying in a unique house from 1880 with a large garden and direct access to the forest and nature. Follow the path from the garden down to the stream, which leads either to the fjord and the beach, or up to play areas without crossing any roads. In winter, the property becomes a playground with untouched snow and sledding hills.
The first floor forms the heart of the house, with a natural flow between the kitchen, dining table, and living room. The second floor has its own living room with a TV and exercise equipment, as well as three bedrooms—a spacious place to retreat to when you need some peace and quiet.
The garden offers plenty of space for all seasons. In the summer, you can relax outdoors, while winter days offer cozy evenings by the fireplace. Directly from the property, you have access to wooded areas with trails to both streams and hiking areas.
For those interested in climbing, there are family-friendly areas such as Mellomveggen and Hyggen Vest within walking distance. The hiking trail network leads to Herstadhei tourist cabin, among other places. Follow the trail around Hyggenholmen to Fagervika beach with views of the Drammen Fjord, or drive to the beaches in Hurumlandet. Røyken station is 7 minutes away.
