In this heritage-listed cottage, you will find an authentic atmosphere – a real cottage vibe from the moment you step through the door. Here, you can slow down, find peace, and enjoy simple living as it was intended. The house is largely original, with the room layout almost unchanged since it was built, although the bathroom and kitchen have been upgraded.
The terrace runs around the house and creates the perfect setting for outdoor living. Here, sunrises and sunsets become even more magical. The guest house, "Det lille Hus" (The Little House), envelops you in the most wonderful way and allows you to sleep undisturbed by the sound of the sea under the black starry sky.
The sea, the sky, and the beach are a natural extension of the house and the grounds—in fact, the house is located on the beach in the sea grass. There is only one row of houses with fields and a country road behind them, and since there is no access for unauthorized persons, you have it all to yourselves, together with the neighbors.
The entire stretch of beach from Nyborg to Kerteminde is wonderful to walk along, and there are lovely walks across the fields. Visit the Johannes Larsen Museum in Kerteminde or take a day trip to the island of Romsø. North of Kerteminde lies Hindsholm and Fyns Hoved with hilly countryside and farm shops. The whole area is perfect for cycling through beautiful nature.
