Why Joyce and Rick Hubbard chose Karnak
This property is our dream come true. It is the perfect getaway for relaxing, recharging, and enjoying the best nature has to offer. It's been such an amazing place for us, we wanted to give others an opportunity to enjoy it.
What makes this Cabin unique
The entrance to the property is a beautiful path through the center of the woods, which opens up into a breathtaking meadow in the back. It's a picture-perfect setting for the cabin, overlooking the lake for a gorgeous sunset. It's also very close to many attractions, including wineries, Tunnel Hill Bike Trail, Ohio River, Mermet Springs Scuba Diving, and a other state nature areas like Mermet Lake. There is much to do nearby or you can bring your fishing pole and fish the lake for a nice catfish cook it up on the grill dinner. If you prefer you can also sit by the fire or relax in the hot tub under the stars for the rest of the night. Don't forget to watch for the amazing wildlife. There is something for everyone here.

If you need a relaxing and very secluded place to stay, this is the cabin for you. There is plenty to do in and out of the cabin. The property it sits on is breathtakingly beautiful. The hot tub, huge fire pit, trails, pavilion were just a few of our favorite parts of this place. You will have a great time and like myself can’t wait to go back!
Thanks again Joyce and Rick!
A delightful cabin
When we were planning our American Tour we were very pleased to find this cabin. It offers peace and tranquility in a rural setting. The cabin itself was lovely with a comfortable sitting room, a comfortable bed and a verandah that looks out over the large grassed area behind. We enjoyed using the hot tub and walking the Deer Lick Trail through the forest.
While we were there we noticed hummingbirds flying nearby and were able to buy a couple of feeders for them and spent hours watching them.
Thoroughly recommended for a peaceful break.
Everything we needed
Everything just as you see in the picture. Cabin was spotless, everything was soo clean. There is a good 2 min drive into the woods to get to actual cabin from the gate, which we loved because it was soo quite and calm, away from everything. Has huge backyard and a pond. We spend soo much time in cabin, deck and by pond fishing, we had to extend our stay to do some of the things we were planning on doing but couldn't. We had fire going in the evening and soak in the hot tub at night. Cabin had everything we needed to cook. We were amazed to see how clean everything was. We got a reply within minutes for all the questions and request. Thankyou for sharing this property, we will definetly be coming back.
We hope to see you again soon. Thank you for signing our guest book and including a drawing.
