We recently bought out our partner in R&R Retreat and now that it is all ours, we are bringing our pretty little cabin up to date. The bathroom has been completely remodeled with new tile floors and a walk in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and has new granite countertops, stainless fridge and cute little red retro microwave. We have new dishes and silverware too. The downstairs bedroom has a new queen bed and the 2 double beds in the loft are new too. The loft has cushy new carpeting, a new dresser and a comfy sitting area with sofa to relax and read or play computer games. Downstairs, the flooring is all new vinyl plank and the living room has a wonderful big leather sofa, a love seat and the dining area had updated table and chairs with extra leaves to seat your group of 6 more comfortably is needed. We still have a bit to finish up mostly outside. We recently replaced the front steps with a ramp making both the front and back doors handicap friendly.
We want to invite you to our little cabin in the mountains, located in Townsend, TN, the quiet side of the Smokies. our location is perfect for nature lovers without going miles away from everything.
Outside is as great as inside with the hot tub on the large private back deck where you will also have a charcoal grill and table and chairs for outdoor dining. The side deck has 2 lounge chairs for private sunbathing and relaxing.
The front porch is where the view is. There is also another table and chairs here to enjoy al fresco dining with a mountain view. Grab a rocking chair and sip your morning coffee, afternoon beverages or simply watch the clouds float over the mountains.
The cabin is at the entrance to the Valley where Townsend is located. The only road in and out is just below the cabin and vehicles can be heard when you are outside. Being located in the woods the cabin is occasionally visited by local animals. Squirrels, raccoons, possums, turkeys, various other type birds and on very rare occasions a bear might wonder by looking for food. Ignore any bear and it will continue on it's way when it finds no food.
