Great vacation getaway

The property is located just steps from the beach and convenient to many popular restaurants and shopping centers. We enjoyed the private pool and the rooms are large and well furnished with comfy mattresses and linens.

How comes fully loaded with everything you need for the perfect week long getaway. Close to the beach, great food and pleanty of seating for eating in. Nice pool. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful family trip

The house we stayed in was in a perfect location for a family of 10. Everything we needed was on the property and the swimming pool was just the right size for the younger two. The only access to the back patio and pool area was through a bedroom which wasn’t ideal but we made it work. We’ll come back and stay here again , we had a good time and made wonderful memories,,

Great location and perfect house

We had a great time. Very short walk to the beach. Nice house. Nice pool (heated for a fee). Lots of new towels all over the house. Easy management to work with. We asked for box fans and they brought them within 15 min.

The most wonderful stay

We had a blast! The house was great with lots of room! The heated pool was a big hit with the kiddos! We will definitely rebook for next year! I already can’t wait!!! Lots of stores, restaurants, wine tasting and a sweet little coffee shop all within walking distance. Oh, and the beach really is sooo close! Just a short walk to the end of the block and you’re there!!! Beautiful!!

Great location, big house

Super close to beach entrance, within short walking distance from icecream shop, coffee shop, and surf/souvenir shop. Private pool and community pool were kept very clean and nice. Lots of space in the house. They just need to take care of several wasp nests that were on the overhangs outside. One person with us was stung. I emailed them about it. Havent heard back yet.

Nice House & location

The house was very nice with lots of room for family. It has a small private swimming pool witch was perfect for the grandkids. It is a short walk to the white sandy beaches. The only problems we had was with the dryer not working & then the pool pump went out. I called management 4 days in a row for repairs with no call back & no repairs. I finally got in touch with the maintenance manager on the 4th day that said the new dryer was being processed. We finally got fresh towels brought out on our last day. I would just pack enough clothes for the stay & not depend on having a working washer & dryer.

Clean and VERY close to beach!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Frangista Costas. There were 3 families in our group - 6 adults and 6 kids total. We had plenty of space for everyone. The home is beautifully decorated and has nice finishes. You can tell it's very well cared for. It was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, cooking supplies, etc. The owner was incredibly responsive to all of our communications both before and after the trip, which was greatly appreciated. She also had plenty of chairs and umbrellas at the house for us to take down to the beach each day, which was an added bonus (saving us money on beach chair rentals). The home is in a FABULOUS location! Literally a 2 minute walk to private beach entrance. Can't beat that! We also walked to Dairy Queen, a local coffee shop, and a local winery...all within a block or two from the house. I've been going to Destin since I was a kid, and we'll definitely keep this place tucked away in our back pocket for future trips!

Not clean at all

This property was not clean at all as we were told. You could feel the dirt under your shoes when you walked. Some of the sinks and bath tubs even had dirt in them. In one of the bathroom cabinets there was an undergarment indicating that this property had not been clean in between stays. We even saw a cockroach in one of the bathrooms. We had to book a hotel the day we got there due to the uncleanliness. Upon checking out when we told them we were told that we should have contacted prior and they would have sent out maintenance and pest control even though we had pictures but we shouldn’t have had to do this in the first place! Extremely disappointed.

Dirty, dated and undesirable

The entire property is very dirty and unkept. The sofa is soiled and so worn to the point you would not want to sit on it. We put blankets over it in order to have a place to sit. The dining room chairs were food stained. The kitchen is disgusting! The cabinets are filthy and water damaged . The drawers and insides of the cabinets are dirty with food stains and crumbs. The floors were so dirty your feet stuck to the floor. The two upstair showers have black mold spots. The white millwork and doors are covered in dust throughout the house. The pool is photographed to look much larger than it is. The pool furniture is old some of it unusable. In order to get to the pool the only access is from one of the bedrooms or go out the front door and walk all the way around. The backyard is fenced in - a necessary touch…in order to keep the patrons from the motel that is in your backyard at bay. The one plus … the beach was a short walk . However, we did shell out $900 for chair and umbrella rentals because we were told we had to because of it being a private beach. You can bring your own. I didn’t call the agency to complain- nothing would have come of it or will .My son in law had just returned from deployment, I was dealing with a recent illness and my brother in law was just re-diagnosed with cancer. I didn’t want to spend our precious time complaining or waiting on maintenance so we made the best of it. I just want other families to be aware.

great stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Having our own pool and tiki bar was great for watching football. The place was very kid friendly. It was only a 3 minute walk to the beach. Only thing I would say negative is VRBO charged my card an additional two hundred twenty fee for a "service and commission fee." This was not clearly stated when I booked this property. So anyone interested in this property, book directly through Ocean Reef to avoid any addittional (hidden) fees.

False advertising

Pictures of the outside of house are not the same as what we got. So small. So squished. Won't be back. Staff was rude and highly disrespectful. Would give negative stars if possible.

Sydney, The only false information here is the review that you have left. You and your group were evicted from the home after several noise complaints and excessive partying. Upon eviction we found the home ravaged and severely damaged due to pure negligence that is not tolerated with any property that we manage. We hold our properties up to the highest standards and post only factual information on the property that is reflected in previous reviews. **Viewers** This group was evicted due to partying and being underage. No one in the group was over the age of 25. Our booking requirements state that parents must accompany their children under the age of twenty-five at all times. Non-compliance of these rules and regulations will result in immediate eviction with no return of any and all funds paid.

Beautiful, clean, close to the beach

My family spend a week over Christmas in this beautiful, clean, roomy, lovely decorated house. There were 3 families,6 adults and 6 teenagers There is plenty of room, the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make any size meal. This house is just about a 5 minute walk to a awesome, clean beach with white sand. We also walked to Dairy Queen a couple of times. There is a lot of games to have family game night. We cooked on the grill a few times. The kids loved the pool and the community pool. My favorite thing was sitting on the balcony at night and listening to the ocean. We loved it here. The owners responded quickly to our needs. We will definitely go back to this wonderful home. Thank you for sharing this place with us. Everyone had a wonderful time.We felt at home. We highly recommend this house.

Paradise

Beautiful vacation home with our children and grandchildren. The home is beautifully furnished decorated and clean. This was our second year in this home and plan to return next year . The pool was an added treat and short walk to the beautiful beach was special. A place for anyone to relax enjoy and build memories.

Fabulous!

The week we spent at Frangista Costas was outstanding. The spacious home was perfect for us with kids, grandkids and a couple of their friends! Everything was very clean and the pool was sparkling and equipped with every kind of pool/beach toy you could ask for, including beach chairs. The beach is less than a block away and so many shopping areas within a 5 mile radius. Everything we needed for a relaxing vacation, including an amenity package to local attractions, restaurants, free movie rentals, golf, and more.

Luxury Vacation Home Just Steps to Private Beach

Frangista Costas has upscale appointments, can accommodate our huge family, has a heated pool with pool deck conducive to entertaining, is within walking distance to local restaurants, shopping, and of course...the beautiful Emerald Coast. May is a wonderful time to go to Destin! Beautiful weather and no lines at restaurants.

Great Spring Break

Our family and friends had a great time. The home was spacious and beautiful. Great upstairs bunk room for our boys! The masters were very large and the decor was lovely. A must return for us! The owners were great to work with as well.
