Come watch stunning sunsets and enjoy the hidden gems found while exploring the unbeaten path in St. Thomas, Jamaica. The days are lazy and you will enjoy the peace and quiet that surrounds the house in this rural seaside community. Fresh seafood can be delivered at your door when fishermen are passing by with their catch. The spacious en suite bedroom has ocean view looking out at each window. Relax on the outside baloney and feel the sea breeze. The bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and dresser with it's own private bath. Even though the full kitchen is a shared space, you will have access to Rooftop balcony.

Each experience that everyone has will differ since each one of us come from different backgrounds and cultures when traveling to other places. However, one thing that we all have in common is genuine appreciation for the earth we live and share. I am realistic as a traveler renting other peoples houses not everything will be perfect. However, I appreciate when a host has done their upmost in making me feel comfortable at their home. I can share on more than one occasion, many other guests (I have another listing in the same location) has marveled on the peace and tranquility they experienced on the peninsula. The proximity to the sea and the natural beauty that surrounds the house is the key attraction for the house . My guests were informed of the ongoing renovations that is scheduled for completion in December 2019 and had no complaints. I have other guests from UAE and USA who plan to return for an extended stay in 2020. Not only, is the renovation is noted in the listing, working on the rooftop balcony (December 2019). I also verbally share with all my guests about the ongoing construction and explain that no work will be performed during their stay. The area is kept clean and we value our guests right to privacy. It's unfortunate after making the accommodations available for 3 days for a 5 days reservation and then issuing a refund from the net proceeds less one night stay showed that we tried to do our best. .

I was born in St. Andrew Jamaica, but currently living in Palm Beach, Florida. I migrated to the States when I just out of high school (St. Andrews High School for Girls) at 15. Lived in Florida where I lived in Broward County for close to 20 years. I attended Florida Atlantic University and University of Miami. Although my job allows me to travel, my best trip was done in 2007 when I visited several cities in Europe with my three children. My husband enjoys cruising, so I have done most of the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
It’s a great place to meditate and relax. I was first attracted to this location in St. Thomas Jamaica since my family is from that area and land proximity to the sea. I truly enjoy the peace and calm in the area and this gives me an appreciation and reality check that there is a Creator.

Why they chose this property
East Prospect is considered an undiscovered jewel. You will enjoy renting this modest home vs. staying at a hotel or resort. It is very private and relaxing. The area is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The beach is mere steps away. We can arrange car transportation to and from the airport, along with grocery shopping and provide referrals on tours of the island. If you don’t want to cook, you can take advantage of fresh fish and lobster and local Jamaican cuisine all done to perfection.
