The Mas Saint Jaume cottage, completely renovated, is adjoining the owners' mas, but not overlooked, with independent entrance and private terrace. Covering an area of 65 m², it is located in the countryside, on enclosed terraced land.
It offers a living room and kitchen area under a stone vault with a convertible sofa. It also has 2 bedrooms (1x160 and 1x140), a bathroom fitted with a double sink unit and Italian shower and a separate toilet.
The swimming pool (8x4) overlooks the valley and offers you a very beautiful panoramic view.
You have a private terrace of 60 m² with a covered part housing a summer kitchen with barbecue and gas plancha.

What a view!

The view of Nyons from this property is simply stunning. You have breathtaking vistas of the mountains and town below and the home itself is gorgeous. The master and second bedroom are spacious enough and the living area is incredibly unique. Plenty of amenities, it was march so we didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice, as well as outdoor accommodations that would be excellent in the summer. Parking is fairly close off street below the house, the owners were very kind despite the language barrier, they provided some treats and we were able to buy some olive oil from their orchard! The only downside was the wifi was absolutely not reliable or really useful, this did provide some difficulty for my wife and I due to remote work needs but overall the stay was wonderful.

Lovely property

Gite was as discribed in the initial booking. Owners, all though there was a language issue we managed to communicate when needed. We didn't see too much of them which was a good thing. The only issue we had was the incline to the property from the car park to the cottage and then to the pool. My wife who has mobility issues could not manage to make the steps up to the very nice pool ares. Perhaps this is something that could be added to the initial discription. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay, we would return...

Excellent location

This was a good property with a great outdoor kitchen & a lovely pool. Unfortunately, there was a curfew on the pool: 10am to 7pm & in the heat of July, this was disappointing. The living space is small & poorly ventilated & in order to sleep comfortably, we had to purchase a fan. We found out in the check-in communication that towels were not included - we had to pay 20 euro for the use of shower & pool towels! In all the houses we've rented over the years in France, other European countries, Australia, New Zealand & America we've never had to pay for the use of towels. We loved nearby Nyons, & explored Provence extensively, so we found this gite's location extremely good.

maison en hauteur d'une jolie colline,à 2km du nyons.Il faut prendre la voiture pour aller au village car sinon il faut un très bon sportif. Mais nous avons découvert une très belle région. Les hôtes sont des personnes accueillant et très très discrète lors du séjour . Vacances très reposante

Bezaubernde Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Vermietern und einer tollen Aussicht auf Nyons. Ein Ort, an dem man wunderbar entspannen kann. Zum Wohlfühlen hat es uns an Nichts gemangelt und eine erneute Buchung ist sehr wahrscheinlich.

Sehr sauberes, gepflegtes und schönes Anwesen. Vielleicht sollte man darauf hinweisen, dass eines der Schlafzimmer lediglich über ein Fenster in den Wohnraum verfügt. Unseren Sohn hat das fehlende Außenfenster jedoch überhaupt nicht gestört.

Super séjour au gîte du Mas Saint Jaume

Nous avons passé de fantastiques vacances au gite du Mas Saint Jaume en famille. La maison est très bien située, à 20/30 mns de Nyons à pied et à 5 mns en voiture, avec une vue magnifique sur Nyons. Tres bien équipé, très confortable, nous avons pu profiter du calme du gîte et de la piscine pour nous reposer. Merci aux propriétaires, Monsieur et Madame Dufranc pour leur accueil, leur disponibilité et leur discrétion. (Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le panier d’accueil et les tomates du jardin).

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette très belle propriété, au calme, avec une superbe vue sur la vallée et ses environs. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, disponibles et chaleureux. En plus de la piscine et de la grande terrasse ombragée, le gîte est bien aménagé et équipé de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Cette hébergement à Nyons est un très bon point de départ pour tous genres d’activités touristiques, sportives et gastronomiques. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et recommandons vivement ce gîte😊😊. PS: l’huile d’olive maison est un régal.

Gemütliches Haus oberhalb Nyons

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen oberhalb des malerischen Städtchens Nyons verbracht. Das Haus bietet den beschriebenen Komfort, sehr schön sind die Sommerküche und der tolle Salzwasser-Pool. Annie und Serge sind nette, diskrete Vermieter, die uns mitt selbstgemachter Marmelade, Keksen und Wein ein herzliches Willkommen bereitet haben. Unbedingt das hauseigene Olivenöl testen! Nyons bietet eine gute Infrastruktur mit Markt am Donnerstag und Sonntag und ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, den Naturpark Baronnies provençales und die vielen kleinen Orte zu erkunden. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

"Un séjour inoubliable à Nyons : Accueil chaleureux, gîte parfait et huile d'olive divine !"

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréables dans le gîte de Monsieur et Madame Dufranc à Nyons. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par les propriétaires, qui ont tout mis en œuvre pour rendre notre séjour aussi confortable que possible. Le gîte était parfaitement conforme à l'annonce : propre, bien aménagé et équipé de tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour notre séjour. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme qui y régnait, ainsi que la vue imprenable sur Nyons et ses environs. Un autre point fort de notre séjour a été la découverte de l'excellente huile d'olive produite par les propriétaires. Un vrai régal pour les papilles ! Nous tenons à remercier sincèrement Monsieur et Madame Dufranc pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur hospitalité tout au long de notre séjour. Leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité ont grandement contribué à rendre notre expérience à Nyons inoubliable. Excellent accueil avec beaucoup de sympathie. Annie et Serge sont bienveillants à l’écoute, très disponibles et généreux ! Traumhafte Ferienwohnung mit Pool an roller Lage.

Wir verbrachten eine tolle Woche auf diesem sehr gepflegtem Anwesen. Es war sehr heiss und wir profitierten jeden Tag von dem schönen Pool und dank den dicken Mauern von der kühlen Wohnung. Die Aussicht ist herrlich und die kaum wahrnehmbaren Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt !

Entspannte Location über den Dächern von Nyons

Den Aufenthalt hat uns als Paar super gefallen. Eine schmale Straße führt zum Gite in etwa 400 m Höhe mit irrer Sicht auf Nyons. Wir sind sehr herzlich von Herrn und Frau Dufranc empfangen worden. Ein kleiner Präsentkorb mit Wein und fantastischer selbstgemachter Aprikosenmarmelade wurde uns überreicht. Anfang Mai ist es hier noch recht frisch Morgens und Abends - umso erstaunlicher ist es, dass so bald die Sonne scheint, der kleine tolle Salz-Pool! Abkühlung verschafft. Vielen Dank!
