Oceanfront+Pet-friendly+1st floor+Near North End Pier & Freeman Park

Beach renourishment is expected Fall 2025. Beach erosion is in progress (it comes and goes) and if the immediate Periwinkle beach access is inaccessible to walk, you can access the beach at the neighboring Clam Shell public beach access or at Freeman Park (North of Carolina Beach Pier). New for 2022: New coffee table, end tables, and nightstands. For 2021: New queen mattress and box spring, washer and dryer, and paint throughout. For 2019: New vinyl plank flooring throughout and fresh paint. Fresh paint outside as well.

Welcome to my family’s HOME away from home! This 1st floor (least amount of steps), spacious two bedroom, two bath condo features 4 sliders (2 overlooking the ocean and 1 in each bedroom) that let in plenty of NATURAL light! Well-behaved, groomed pets are welcome (additional $150 fee) and RELAXATION is required!

The master bedroom includes an en suite with walk-in shower, queen bed, and balcony. The second bedroom includes two twin beds and balcony. The second full bathroom includes a tub with shower. The full kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and all the accessories. The washer and dryer is located adjacent to the kitchen. Off the kitchen is a big dining table that sits 6. PLENTY of room for sitting, eating, and RELAXING! The living area includes seating for 5 and the couch folds out into a queen size bed. The OCEANFRONT balcony is SPACIOUS with a bar height table and four chairs. You can people watch and see the waves hit the sand from the balcony.

There is a 40” HDTV with a DVD player in the living room, a 28” HDTV in the master bedroom, and a TV with DVD player in the second bedroom. Each TV is connected to cable. The house has wireless internet, FREE-WIFI. SPACIOUS parking for two vehicles. One spot is covered and directly under the condo. Bring your own sheets, linens, and towels. Dogs are welcome north of the pier all day, everyday. During peak summer season dogs are welcome on the beach in front of the condo before 9 am and after 5 pm.

The North End Carolina Beach Pier is located less than three blocks away and features the High Tide Lounge Bar/Pub. Located above the pier, beach goers may drive their vehicles right on the sand and pets are welcome YEAR-ROUND.

Also, not too far away is the Boardwalk (restaurants, shops, rides, games, and pier) featuring the EXTREMELY POPULAR Britt’s Donuts! **NOM NOM NOM**

Rates are subject to change until the reservation is confirmed. Please note that VRBO charges you a service fee and I can't remove it. Check-in is at 4pm, checkout is at 11 am.

Not a bad place to stay. Just a couple of things I would change. The master shower was really small and was dirty when we got there but that was rectified immediately. The master bedroom was missing the remote to the fan so you couldn't have it on without the light being on. A dresser drawer was broken in there too. Remotes for TVs and other fans were in the wrong room and one of them didn't have batteries. Balcony was great to watch the ocean and spacious. Upgraded kitchen appliances were GREAT. Over all I would stay here again. The host was helpful and the issues were minor so we can't complain!

Perfect for Pups

The condo is just as the photos showed. It is very clean and perfect for a small family to enjoy the beach. The property manager did a great job communicating and we were well prepared for our stay! Our 2 doodles loved people watching on the ocean side balcony. We will return soon!

Weekend getaway

We checked in on a Friday afternoon with no problem at all! The place was clean and quaint! We came with our dog and we could tell right away it was a dog friendly neighborhood which we were happy about! The bed was comfy and the living room was cozy as well with the balcony right off it. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some which was so convenient! Tim’s recommendations were spot on and made for a great trip for us even though it was short! Would definitely stay here if we visit again!

We love this place!

This is our second time staying here. Tim is great to deal with and the condo is perfect for our little family. We like to stay towards Freeman Park which makes this location ideal. The only complaint is we had to leave.

Beautiful Codo!

We absolutely loved the location. The place was very clean. The beds were comfortable and it was well decorated. The only recommendation I have is I would update the listing to state what type of coffee maker there is so people know what to buy in advance. We weren’t sure if we should bring pods or regular ground coffee.

Lovely view and location!

We stayed here while our house was renovated from Florence damage. Fantastic location just steps from the beach and the sunrise each morning was beautiful! Bed was comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were clean.

Very nice and clean in prime location

Very nice and clean right at the beach. Only slight downside for us was the blasting music all afternoon from the next house on the left ,the shabby looking house.

On the beach!

A short three day getaway to the ocean that checked all the boxes: on the beach, dog friendly, great view! Owner Tim was very responsive and helpful. The condo was clean, had a comfortable bed, a well appointed kitchen, balcony looking out at the beach and was convenient to all the amenities Pleasure Island affords!

On the beach

Being able to walk out unto the beach or just watch the waves from the your balcony was pure heaven. Very nice beach condo, had everything that we needed during our too short of a stay. My Mom and I loved the condo! Everything was clean and well taken care of. It had a well equipped kitchen with nice appliances. We did not use half of the amenities available but they were there! Very nice place to stay. I will be back!

Perfect location!

The property was exactly as described. Steps from the beach, beautiful view. Lovely decor and all updated. I absolutely loved the week I spent here. Sunrises every morning and sunset right on the beach. It was breath taking! I almost didn’t leave!! Lol
