Hosted on island by the owner & an Airbnb Superhost, Jus Breathe is a studio on the upper floor of a cottage below. However, the property has a private driveway and separate entrance where privacy is maintained during your stay. It has a separate garden and privacy fencing with mature coconut, hibiscus and oleander trees and with any luck some in season banana trees. With a brisk 3 minute walk you arrive to a spectacular beach called Twin Beach with beautiful sand & seas on calm days.

It boasts 500 square feet with an open floor space. Full size kitchen stove and fridge with lots of cabinets to store all the cooking utensils you need to cook as if you were home. It captures beautiful Atlantic Ocean views from the bed and seating area with unobstructed views looking as far as James Cistern Point to watch the sunrise every morning. Full size washer and dryer to handle all your laundry needs. A full size bathroom with a shower complete with all towels needed during your stay. Seating table for two with all the plates, glasses and cutlery needed to eat. Queen size orthopedic bed with extra linens for comfort. Great for a single person, couple or couple with a small child to have a comfortable stay in Eleuthera on one of the safest and beautiful streets of Rainbow Bay.

A perfect space and location!

This is the second time we've stayed at Jus' Breathe and think it is one of the cleanest and well-appointed rentals in the area. Great price and customer service as well ! Will return if we come to Eleuthera again.

We had a wonderful time in Eleuthera and the studio apartment was great! It was a good central location to everything and had rainbow bay beach just a few minutes away. We had a good view of the Atlantic Ocean from our dining area. The owners were quick to answer any questions and we found the islanders all very friendly and helpful. We are planning to return probably next year!

Quiet and Beautiful Accomodations

I would highly recommend staying at Jus Breathe. Beautiful view of the ocean, spacious and well equipped studio with everything you need. Owners are right next door if you need anything extra, like a flashlight to tour the Hatchet Bay Cave... They made my stay so easy, from picking me up from the airport, to having a car rental available and ready for me when I arrived at the studio to providing excellent sight seeing suggestions. Very nice family... I guarantee you will enjoy your stay!

Not for everyone

The property is in an isolated residential neighbourhood. It’s geared towards people who want a holiday that revolves around a car for their entire stay but that isn’t explained in the listing. If that’s not you then you’re in trouble. There is nothing within walking distance except one restaurant but you can’t walk there after sundown because it’s too dark and you can’t see one foot in front of the other. The property isn’t easy to find and even the taxi driver had trouble. I can’t imagine what someone unfamiliar with the island arriving in a rented car at night would do. Everything is done at arm’s length. There is no one to greet you when you arrive although the owners aren’t far away but they’re quick to respond if you email. The listing indicates that guests should take garbage to the “centralized collection area”. My assumption was that it was on the property but that’s not the case. It’s actually a facility on the island but that’s only spelled out after you arrive. This is such an unusual, and some would say outrageous, request to make of a guest that one should be forgiven for assuming it’s on the property. The unit itself has a sloping ceiling and this is an issue for men because the toilet is under the slope and, unless you’re uncommonly short, you have to stand far enough away that you end up making a mess, otherwise you have to sit, but even so you have to be careful when you get up or you’ll hit your head. The unit was clean overall but the shower could have been cleaner with pink mildew on the grout which I cleaned off. The shower curtain liner is scummy. There’s enough closet space but not a single hanger. There’s a washer/dryer which is great. But there are also cockroaches which is less great. I even found one crawling up my leg while I was reading late at night. This has something to do with the fact that the unit has wood floors with wide gaps where they hide. The owners told me insects are a constant problem in the tropics but Eleuthera isn’t in the tropics. I have been throughout the Caribbean and haven’t seen cockroaches anywhere else. The large gaps also collect dust and what appears to be animal hair which may be an issue for people with allergies. Rainbow Beach is a 20-minute walk away but it’s small and rocky and not worth the trip. All the best beaches are far away. It’s also worth noting that the weather in Eleuthera is not as reliable as it is in the southern Caribbean and the water is colder.

I had a great time. The place is exactly as described and landlords answer very quickly to all inquiries. They’ve given me directions from the airport which were very helpful since I didn’t have service. The place has a great view and is perfect!!!

Excellent value for money! Bed was fantastic and location excellent. Loved CocodoMama Beach which was about 10-15 minutes away. View was great from inside but no real outdoor space, as was correctly advertised. No shortage of religious videos and literature, if that’s your thing. If not, maybe bring some Dan Brown for the beach;)

I recommend this place it is comfortable and has everything you need for a great trip. It’s really close to Rainbow Bay with a really nice beach with tables and tiki huts. This location on the island is a good one in between governors harbor and Gregory town. Be sure to rent a Jeep so you can explore all the beaches you of Eleuthera!

Great Loft!
