Phoenix X is one of the most popular condominium complexes on the gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach. Great location directly next door to the Flora-Bama and across the street from restaurants.



There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix X. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while your bbqing.



This is a Premium unit. Come relax on the spacious penthouse floor balcony with breathtaking views of the gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master with balcony access! A Queen in the 2nd bedroom and two double beds in the 3rd bedroom. This unit has been upgraded to included new furniture, granite countertops, and new floors! We have new SMART TVs in all the bedrooms and living room. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls. Don't forget we are right next door to the Flora-Bama!

Parking: Parking passes are a one time fee of $70 plus tax per vehicle. You will receive an email prior to your arrival to purchase the passes and will then be picked up at the front desk upon arrival. One bedroom condos are guaranteed 1 parking pass. Two and three bedroom condos are guaranteed two parking passes. Additional passes will be sold based on availability in the parking lot.

Check in with super easy, and the location is the best location ever! However, the room with the double beds, both beds are completely worn out. When you sit on the bed, the mattress is just sink almost to the floor. Also the floor rugs are curled up on the edges, and it is a tripping hazard. Other than that, the place was clean, quiet, and had everything you could want.

When we got there, the house was not clean, but even if it was clean, I wouldn’t wanted to stay there. Comforters were nasty. The whole place needed a deep cleaning and it was very dated. Nothing like pictures.

Great location however the condo was terrible. Black mold in the shower, chandelier was pulled out of the ceiling, and there was popcorn in the floor when we first arrived. absolutely terrible for the amount of money!!!

Overall, our stay was great! Great location, everyone there was very nice. We stayed in 1506 and the Rooms were semi clean unfortunately. However, you’re on a beach and the sand will be there regardless. That being said, there were some spots that didn’t look cleaned at all. We went ahead and cleaned it for them and then scrubbed the shower in the master and what not. We just made it a point to leave it cleaner than we found it. One downer tho, when we arrived, we found the patio table leg was broken and bent. Emailed the owner but never heard back ln it. All in all, I would 100% stay again, place was comfy, and the view amazing.

Utensils and pans were dirty, rusted. Front door needs weatherstripping especially with north winds. 2 refrigerators but no ice maker. Thin white drapes do not block light at night. Hung a blanket over window so we could sleep. Don't sit on the couch.

The floors weren't clean (as evidenced by how dirty my feet were after walking around!), the towels, sheets, and blankets all had stains, and the rug needed a good vacuum. The location and setup are great, just wish it was slightly cleaner.

Reviewer Comments: The unit was spacious and had a great view, which we really appreciated.Unfortunately, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was a roach in the sink, another crawling across the floor, and all the vents and fans were covered in thick dust. The hallway sink and counter even had beard trimmings left behind.The comfort level was disappointing as well — all the pillows were flat, and the furniture felt cheap.On top of that, the refrigerator wasn’t working. The unit did have two fridges, but we didn’t realize one wasn’t working until the next morning, after we’d already stored food in it. This meant moving everything to the other fridge, which was a hassle, and there was no ice available at all.Overall, while the view and size were great, the lack of cleanliness, comfort, and functioning appliances made for a frustrating stay.

I briefly said something on the Vrbo but not sure it was posted. This place is not being kept up well. Don’t plan to cook in because they don’t have anything that is functional. Sheets were dirty. Floors were gross and sticky. Food and dust under all cabinets. We have never been so disappointed. We obviously made the best of it because there was nothing we could do, but I can work you. We have been going to orange beach for years. Cleaning service needs to get it together. We bought a broom bc the one there was older than me and I’m 37. We had to buy cups to use and plates as well. Whomever the owner is definitely needs to pay a visit because this listing is not as pictured. The patio table is not equipped for big groups. It was over all the nastiest condo we have ever been to. Will not be returning to this unit which is 1506.

Not our favorite condo

We have been staying at Phoenix X twice a year for the past 6 years. We love the location. The beach is so close and the pool is awesome. You can walk to Flora Bama, The Yacht Club and Ole River. I read a review on this condo last month that the ice maker didn’t work. I messaged the host via VRBO, Charlie, to find out if the ice maker was fixed and never received a reply. Thank goodness Phoenix X sells bags of ice. I was excited that the condo had two refrigerators but one did not work. We filled it with bottled water on our first day and noticed the next day it was not cold. Kitchen is very well equipped other than needing frying pans that were awful and should have been replaced long ago. The wind noise from the front door was unbearable at night. For the money you spend this is unacceptable!!!! Stay away from this condo!! Being on the top floor was great, views were spectacular. We will be back to a Phoenix X but will not rent this unit.

Needs a deep cleaning!

First off, I will start by saying that if it were not for the location of this property, I would not have stayed for more than one night. The view from the balcony is perfect. Now as far as the condo.. very disappointing. Very! I'm not quite sure when the last deep cleaning took place. Which surprised me, especially with the cost of the cleaning fee charged at the time of booking. The counter tops were dirty right when we walked in. Bathrooms were dirty as well. I ended up placing an order with Walmart delivery for Clorox cleaner to clean the tub/shower. That helped a ton. The amount of dust/dirt under cabinets is literally disgusting. The dishwasher did not work. The fridge/freezer in the kitchen did not work. They did have a fridge/freezer in the dining room which did work ( we did not know that prior to loading the first fridge ). I did read a ton of reviews about the condo being dirty and broken appliances prior to our arrival so I messaged the host. He assured me that the issues were resolved. That was not the case. Please consider this review if you are staying here with your family or small children.

We had to wash our bed linen because there was sand and hair on the sheets. We also found alcoholic beverage cans stuck between the mattress and head board.There was 2 refrigerators in the kitchen. The one on the left didn't work, then when we went to get groceries that's when we found out the second refrigerator was turned off. Need to make sure the rooms are clean before families come in to stay. Alot of money for one week to find out its not clean.

Reviewer Comments: My family and I enjoyed our recent stay and had a generally pleasant experience, though there were a few issues worth noting.Pros:Great Location: The condo is ideally situated, offering easy access to the beach, Florabama and a couple of local restaurants. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.Cleanliness: The unit was very clean upon arrival. Two Refrigerators: Having two refrigerators was a nice touch for extra storage, especially for longer stays.Cons:Appliance Issues: Unfortunately, only one of the two refrigerators worked well, which could be inconvenient for larger groups. Electrical Problems: Some of the electrical outlets in the unit did not work, which was a minor inconvenience.Fire Alarm Buzzing: The fire alarm would sporadically buzz, which might be annoying to some.Overall, while the condo's location and cleanliness were excellent, there are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed to improve the guest experience. Despite these drawbacks, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning, hoping these problems are resolved.
