Gorgeously decked out condo with amazing views year round. Take a shuttle directly from the property down to Sugar Mountain in the winter, or enjoy the mild summer days, breathtaking foliage in fall, and verdant spring hikes.

Minutes from Grandfather Mountain, Linville Gorge, Hawks Nest Mountain Tubing & Ziplining, Beech and Appalachian Mountain Ski resorts. Close to outlets, breweries, tons of shopping, local art, Tweetsie Railroad, downtown Boone etc. Seriously, this is our family’s HAPPY PLACE as there is something for everyone! My kids LOVE all the Gem Mining too!

Please NOTE: If you arrive during the winter months, it is at the top of Sugar Mountain, so we recommend four-wheel-drive or chains just in case. Safety first! If a snowstorm hits 4WD or chains are required when heading up the mountain to the condo.

Also, the pool is open for your enjoyment but on rare occasions it is closed for repair, cleaning, or maintenance. The owner has no control over this. Thankfully it’s almost always open and it is such a fun amenity.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The views were amazing. accessibility to everything was amazing. Our teens walked in and loved it immediately. We rented our gear from a family run company called the highland house and they were again wonderful. Our teens took lessons at the slopes and were skiing within an hour. We will certainly be back.

Great get-a-way

This unit is just as described; very clean, pretty and well appointed! You will feel very safe and secure staying at this property. There are 2 jacuzzis and a nice indoor pool. This is a good central location for all the little nearby towns to explore.

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed in this unit and both times have been a great experience. Even with 6 of us, there is still enough space for us to maneuver and be comfortable. The owner, Betsy, is so sweet and always responsive and we love the views as well as the amenities of Sugartop. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Very Nice

We stayed during February and skied at Sugar Mountain. Unit looks as it does in the pictures. We had plenty of room or relax while we went on the slopes. The over look of the resort was nice though we didn’t get to see it much since it snowed while we were staying.

Weekend Trip to the Mountains with Kiddos

We had a great quick trip to Sugar Mountain. Unit was in great shape and beautifully remodeled. Owner had great communication and provided wonderful instructions for checking in and out. Lots of fun things to do around Sugar and kids had a blast!
