Seabrook Cottage - Ubicado entre los árboles, un refugio rural tranquilo!

Cómoda casa de 10 años que es privada y se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche de la playa. Carreteras y plantaciones bajas para explorar y a 45 minutos de los jardines, plantaciones y tiendas de Charleston. 3 millas hasta la rampa para botes en Steamboat Landing, que tiene un muelle para pescar y pescar cangrejos, y un muelle flotante. Nuestra cabaña tiene pisos nuevos como Pergo que reemplazaron la alfombra vieja y han sido pintados recientemente. Tiene un dormitorio con una cama Queen y el segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas Twin. Nuestro porche proyectado es acogedor y los madrugadores a menudo pueden ver ciervos cruzando el patio y disfrutar de innumerables cantos de pájaros.
Botany Bay es una nueva propiedad de DNR donde puedes caminar, pescar, nadar y disfrutar de las vírgenes al aire libre en aprox. 5,000 acres.

Excellent Cottage

The condition of this cottage is excellent. It's located near the end of a (well maintained) 3/4 mile dirt road in the woods of Edisto Island. It's quiet and pleasant. (If you were traumatized by the movie Deliverance, this might not be for you. :-)) The host is friendly and responsive. Overall, a pleasant stay for a month.

Cozy, Comfortable and Close

What a wonderful, relaxing time we had. It was like being at home but at the beach. The house feels like a house, not a vacation rental, with all the cozy amenities. It's in a neighborhood surrounded by locals instead of the hard partying vacation scene on the beach, yet the beach is just ten minutes away. Everything was so clean and homey. Just sitting on the screened-in porch in rockers watching the birds and butterflies going by, enjoying the absence of traffic noise, boomboxes, etc. was a wonderful way to spend time. We got a pass to the state park and went daily for hiking and swimming. We would definitely stay here again!

Secluded getaway

I’ve stayed at the cottage many times over the past few years and love it more each time. It is perfect to stay for my fall fishing trips with friends and Doug is always a pleasure to work with when I need to give him a call.

Wonderful relaxing Cottage by the beach

Seabrook Cottage is a wonderful rental for anyone looking to relax in a very quiet cozy natural place near the beach. The cottage was well situated and had everything you need to relax, cook, and enjoy the nearby parks and beaches. It is down a quiet well maintained dirt road and surrounded by lots of trees and wildlife. Doug and Mary were very responsive and helpful. We look forward to our next stay at their lovely home in Edisto. Truly a hidden gem.

Great stay!

We very much enjoyed our long weekend stay at the Seabrook Cottage. The cottage was perfect for the three of us. We especially enjoyed the screen porch on our rainy day. Mary and Doug were very helpful in the booking process. We will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Vacationers from the north

As usual Seabrook cottage didn’t disappoint us. This was the second time staying here and we throughly enjoyed it. The house was clean, cool and comfortable. We love that it’s off the beaten path but only a quick drive to the beaches and restaurants. We enjoyed the easy drives to Charleston and Savannah again. Edisto is beautiful and does not have the high traffic that some of the other islands have which makes for a more enjoyable vacation. The quietness and wild life add to the charm of this home!

Another perfect vacation at the cottage!

My twins and myself had yet another perfect vacation at the cottage and Edisto. Everything at the cottage was once again wonderful. We appreciate Doug and Mary and all the great communication and the wonderful cottage. We cannot wait for next year!!

Beautiful

Seabrook cottage is beautiful!! We could hear the crickets at night and rosters in the mornIng. It's a very cozy cottage and very close to the beach. Don't forget bedsheets and towels

Cozy, comfortable get away

This property is amazing and we loved everything about it! It was immaculate upon arrival and very adequate for all our needs. We actually hated to leave and enjoyed being tucked away and only 10 minutes from the beach. We will be back and will stay here again!

guests have to clean upon arrival and before departure. beds are terrible. we spent one night of 3

reasonly priced but we would rather pay more and feel clean cottage is not being cleaned. the beds need replacing.

Best Place to Stay

This is our second time staying at the Seabrook Cottage. It is still a nice quiet, awesome place. My mom went with us this time and this was her first time at Edisto, she had an awesome time as well. We highly recommend this place.

This cottage was well suited for a relaxing visit. You have to bring very little. They provide a clean and comfortable space. Love the screened porch and wooded lot! Location is close to all.
