Had a wonderful quiet stay at Mermaid Cottage. We don’t require much and typically take everything we need in case it isn’t provided. I am also pretty OCD so end up leaving the place cleaner than I found it, BUT I didn’t have to unpack much for Mermaid Cottage or clean much of anything, which was a complete blessing! I offered a few suggestions to the manager who was communicative and open to feedback, but they were really all just my quirky nice to haves. We really did like the place and the convenience! Highly recommend Pressley’s for a dinner, but the rest of the time enjoy the screened in porch!

We loved the house. The house was very clean and stocked with kitchen and bath needs better than any rental house we have ever stayed. The host was excellent with communications. Every room in the house was perfect. The house has a sunroom, and screened in porch and an open deck looking out over the golf course. To me the house has a mid-century feel to it with very nice examples of furniture from earlier times. It reminded me of times spent at the beach in my youth. No doubt this is where will stay when at Edisto in the future.
