“One” is the only home like it on Jekyll Island. Totally renovated in September 2018, one level, perfect location. This home was the second beach cottage constructed on Jekyll Island when the only way to reach the island was by boat. It once had a clear view of the ocean and still dawns it’s original wooden shiplap siding inside and out (which made us fall in love with it at first sight).

This residence is perfect for families or couples. Walk into a bright, light beautiful open floor plan and comfortable living room seating, dining table for 8 (plus 4 at counter seating), and a 55" wall mounted smart flat screen TV. It is perfect for entertaining, cooking, and gathering. This home has 3 bedrooms, two baths, and an extra outdoor shower (hot water).
Bedrooms have new mattresses, high end linens and bedding, and designer touches for the most up to date interiors. Smart TVs are in all bedrooms, available for you to sign into your Netflix/smart tv apps accounts. Well stocked with games, toys, pack n play, stroller, beach toys, and four adult bikes available for use when you are not enjoying the beach. There is a lovely outdoor area, swing, screen porch, and grilling spaces as well to enjoy the beautiful oaks while relaxing in the evening. A fully stocked kitchen and pantry space make cooking at home easy. For further convenience there is home wifi, an outdoor shower and laundry closet!

*The beautiful master has a king bed and an en suite bath. It is appointed with high end linens in soothing colors of greys, blues, and greens. It has plenty of storage in the double closet, two dressers, a full length mirror, and 42" wall mounted smart TV. The master bath has a beautiful shower with glass door, marble top vanity, and plenty of light.

*The queen guest room is bright and cozy with a single closet, tall dresser, and comfortable bedding. It is mix of traditional and modern. All white with green accents and a 42" smart TV. This room shares a bright spacious hall bath with shower/ tub combo, marble accents, and a single sink vanity with plenty of storage.

*The 2nd guest room is spacious and holds a double bed and a twin bed w/ twin pullout air mattress. It sleeps two adults comfortably or 3-4 children. It is a cheery room with spindle beds, dresser, side table and fun hanging kids tent. The double closet has lots of shelving and there are toys and books too!

The beach is only a short stroll down a conveniently located sidewalk across the street from the house. The beach walkover (access #25) is an open and spacious boardwalk (no creeping through bushes or climbing over many stairs or rocks!) The beach here is not too wide or narrow during tide changes, so you can enjoy sitting on the beach even during high tide. If you have stayed on the north end of the island you know there is a wall of rocks dividing the beach and the dunes, and the beach walkovers have many stairs. The south end is just the opposite with a very wide beach that gets even wider at low tide.
Beach Access #25 is at a perfect midway point, further making "One" a very desired location!

Enjoy biking the many bike paths around the island lined with beautiful moss covered live oaks. Rent a kayak, take a dolphin tour, watch the sunset at The Warf , explore the historic Millionaires’ Village, or go boating and fishing in the salt water marshes and rivers. There are four breathtaking public golf courses located on the island (clubhouse is 1/2mile from our home) Jekyll has so much to see, do, and explore. Whether you are seeking the sound of silence or getting hooked on a new family hobby, there are outdoors options for all.
