Full kitchen, family room, satellite TV, central air, with attached garage. Large poured patio and shade trees. Perfect for a quiet retreat, couples getaway, family vacation, or a base for hunting, fishing, or sight-seeing. Large yard and sandy beach with a gentle depth slope ideal for swimming. Lake Poinsett is one of the largest natural lakes in South Dakota and is great for water sports or fishing. This home is less than a mile from a golf course, grocery store, bait shops, restaurants/bars, gas dock, and marine dealer. Safely located on a local frontage road yet with quick access to US Hwy 81. 80 minutes from Sioux Falls and a short drive to Brookings, Watertown, Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House on The Prairie, Terry Redlin Art Center, SD Children's Museum, South Dakota State University Jackrabbit sports, and various area fishing lakes and hunting opportunities. We will consider a cancellation refund minus a 25% fee provided property is able to be rented during same period for the same amount or greater.

We are from the area and have always enjoyed Lake Poinsett. This will be our 19th year on the lake. Upon purchasing this cabin we began sharing our original cabin less than a mile away, with guests through VRBO #897727. We are very proud of the great reviews we have received there and we will be doing all we can to have the same type of reviews here. We continue to enjoy the fishing, swimming, bicycling, golfing, boating, and the many activities associated with having a lake cabin.

A quiet spot on the lake, well located, roomy, and recently remodeled. Less than a mile to everything you need such as a grocery store, restaurant, bar, bait shop, and golf course. In addition, Lake Poinsett is one of the largest natural lakes in South Dakota and has so many advantages with the large variety of activities at the lake along with nearby hunting and fishing. We can help you get connected with hunting opportunities or share the latest in where they are biting.
