This house is stunning and worked out great for our group. The yard had some pokey weeds in it and the beach out from the house wasn't cleaned up to use, nor was the public beach. But none the less the property is beautiful & we had such a fun time playing hard games and hanging out in the screened in porch. Beautiful property for a relaxing time.
We had a wonderful stay! This is a beautiful, new, and very clean home in a great location. The views are really nice, and the amenities, from the patio to the fire pit made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and utensils, though be sure to bring any cooking ingredient staples you might need (like olive oil)—we didn’t come fully prepared but made it work. Also, while the beach area is nice, it’s not kept up well and not super young kid friendly (which the host mentioned).Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this home. The host was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with throughout.
Great location to enjoy the area. Very clean and has everything you would need. Would be nice to be able to use the garage. Owners personal property fills the space. Owners very responsive and helpful.
We rented the home for a girls trip, all adult women aged 72-21. We all really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, gas stove and massive island. We also loved the screened in porch for eating and the outdoor grill, patio and hot tub that looked out over Lake Albert. They had plenty of games - our favorite being the oversized connect four! While the home is beautiful and modern not all beds are comfortable for adults, the two upstairs bedrooms had a queen bed and set of bunk beds. I’m sure for children the bunk mattresses would be fine but not so much for adults, they are very firm. It was quite hot upstairs when we arrived and noticed the AC vents were covered in each room - we were able to uncover one but not the other. The other important thing to note is that there isn’t water access to the lake from the house. There are two docks but you aren’t allowed to use either. There is a small sandy spot but sadly it was strewn with animal feces. And lastly - the bugs outside made it really hard to enjoy time out there in the evening. Not much the owner can do, it’s nature and summer, but those mosquitos were brutal and they swarmed the front door entrance and the back patio so bring outdoor yard repellent and bug spray! There is a dollar general a mile up the road so you can get things there if needed. The house was clean, easy to check in and out and the host responded to any questions very quickly which was appreciated! It was a lovely relaxing long weekend!

Thank you Sara for your review and feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us. This feedback is very helpful. We are planning to update the beds upstairs within a month! We will also look into the AC vents being covered up, and make sure they are open for future guests. Unfortunately there was flooding last month in SD, which resulted in the beach sand getting washed up. We're hopeful it will get back to normal within a few months. We'd love to host you and your friends again! Thank you!
