Cute home, lovely spot along the river. Plenty of space with three bedrooms and a 4th if you’re visiting during summer months. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, the beds were comfortable and the family room was great for gathering in the evening.
The Kottage was perfect for our ADK adventure. Clean, well appointed and very comfortably decorated. Plenty of bedrooms and baths. Nice deck area and even fenced in backyard. We woukd love to stay there in the future!

Good morning Meg. So happy that you had a wonderful time at the Kottage Would love to host you again in the future. Enjoy the remainder of the summer. Colleen.
This property and the owners are lovely! The place is well cared for and has everything you need and want. I cook a lot of the meals when we are on vacation and this place had great pots and pans which makes it so nice! The mattresses are very comfortable, and I loved the light summery quilts. The river was beautiful and the location is perfect for our family! This is a lovely place!

Thank you Natalie: We are so happy everyone enjoyed themselves...Would love to host again in the future....Enjoy the summer...
The place was just as charming as 2 years ago! We felt right at home. The river was full & lulled us to sleep every night. Look forward to staying here again hopefully next summer!
The house was comfortable, charming, and perfectly located for us, plus we enjoyed the sound and view of the river in the back. We started our days with baked goods (from excellent bakery next door) and enjoyed them in one of the inviting spaces inside and outside of house (deck, yard). My 90-year-old mother was comfortable (and approves of the stairs and railings). I was a little apprehensive at first about my allergies because the front hall had an old-house smell, but I ended up having no health problems.

So happy Susan that you and your family. Enjoyed the stay at the Kottage. The Frenchman‘s bakery next-door has become a new favorite for all of our guests! We hope to host you again in the future.
My son and I came up to see the beauty that is the ADK. The Kottage was a perfect spot for us to base out experience from. The Kottage was great with the sound of the river and the trees rounding out our desire to be in nature (while having all the amenities). We plan to return and have another new wonderful experience!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
We replaced a lot of burned out lightbulbs, but it was cool cuz they had them on hand. The cable internet didn't work for two days out of our four-day stay and phone calls to the owner/manager were not returned. We eventually did some hardware troubleshooting on our own, however, and made it work. If they keep the cable and do not upgrade to the locally-available fiber-optic internet provider (KVVI) you can expect about 9-10 Mbs down and less than 1 Mbs up on a good day. The TV signal is poor but that's probably not their fault. If your cell provider is Metro PCS there is no service in the house or environs. An upstairs indoor bloom of ladybugs was a little distracting, but not overwhelming, as those bugs, while numerous, are pretty cute. Many of the windows have a carpet of dead flies on the sills, the cleaning staff needs to remember to vacuum the windows on the inside. The tap water is tasty, the gas grill is great. Beds comfy. Toasty warm in the winter, too. Overall, pretty good place. Would recommend
The house was lovely in all ways. from the comfortable rooms, to the kind Owners and the beautiful Ausable River meandering past the back yard. We had a family reunion in Keene Valley we will always remember. Thank you
Great place to stay while visiting Keene Valley!

The house is comfortable and inviting.
The house was all we expected. Clean, tidy and welcoming. Everything was as expected with no surprises. It was cold outside and a big snowfall too and we still had a great time. Colleen was very accommodating in regards to the snowstorm. We stayed late to let the roads clear. Thank you Colleen! We will come back this summer.
