Lovely Home

Front door is tricky but after we got in everything was very nice. It was perfect for our bride and her bridesmaids. Juan was a wonderful host and so easy to work with.

Wedding Weekend

This is a fabulous house and Peyton was the best to work with before we got there, while there, and after. We even left something and she met me to pick it up and was so kind. Great place!! Highly recommend.

Amazing property, lacks basic amenities

The house was large and beautiful. The property is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. However, the beds were not comfortable, there were dead bugs throughout the house that should have been cleaned before our arrival. We planned on using the washing machine but it was broken. Basic amenities like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, kitchen towel and sponge were either lacking or not provided. We had to purchase many things that we had expected to be on site, even some kitchen utensils. Peyton was responsive and came to clean on the first night, but we were constantly having to request simple and obvious things like TP. The cost should be reduced or basics should be provided. In fact, it seems reasonable that we should be reimbursed a portion due to the cost of having to provide so many essentials that were expected. Thanks for considering.

Spacious quiet home

Very spacious and nicely laid out home. Exceptional pool and back patio space. Property manager was very responsive and effectively addressed questions and concerns. Beautiful location near lake with lovely views, as well as interesting flora and fauna. Great birdwatching location. Would stay there again if in the area. Perfect for large groups.

I would not recommend this property in its current state.

We had issues with the property from the moment we arrived. The lock on the front door is in need of repair. We could not get the door open. The property manager had us shake the door and force it open. Once in it was apparent that the property had not been cleaned recently. There was a layer of dust everywhere . The windows were grimy. The refrigerator had food caked on it and I had to clean it before I was willing to use it. The ice maker was encrusted with ice and nonfunctional until I defrosted it. As one who cooks, I found the kitchen in need of basics such as knives and mixing and serving bowls. We discovered that the heating was non functional on the main floor. The repair man could not fix it. The property manager brought space heaters for us to use. The pool and spa heaters did not function well. On our last day there we discovered a blown fuse and were able to heat the spa. Despite the efforts of the manager to resolve issues, it was very frustrating. We decided to cut our trip short by a day and go home.

50th Birthday Celebration Weekend

This house was very nice. Very Spacious. The pool was awesome. The house was clean for the most part. There were a few things that would have made the weekend almost perfect. There were A LOT of lights that did not work, assuming maybe the bulbs were out, which made the lighting in the outside cooking/pool area almost dark in the evening. There were some light out in the master bath/shower as well. The dumpster was still full from the previous quests, which made it difficult for us to get all of our trash in the dumpster, ended up having to leave a few boxes beside the dumpster. The master suite thermostat was not working, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. We could not get the thermostat to connect to the WiFi. Finally, while enjoying the pool on Friday afternoon, the men came to mow, kind of distracting. With all of the above said, we did have a very nice time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

What a nice place with a really cool shower

Thanksgiving weekend visit

I agree with the prior reviews about feeling like your in someone’s space. Overall it was clean but a few things that could be better 1) extra sheets. There weren’t sheets on some of the beds and not sure if the ones that were, were actually laundered as they were wrinkled and were not put on the mattress correctly if they were. So we did wash them 2). There were no pillow cases on the pillows which was kind of odd. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again just minor things that could be fixed. There was a broken ice machine and there were leftover items In the refrigerator that were not ours. Just some attention to detail Overall it’s a beautiful house but attention to detail would help. The overall experience was good.

The place was great but a few things I couldn’t get over

First off, the property itself is amazing in an great quiet location and the pool is to die for. However, my check in process was horrible and I had to call two different numbers about five times because no one had reached out or replied to me with arrival information beforehand. When we finally got in the place was not clean; empty and half full drinks everywhere, trash not taken out, beds not made, no clean sheets to be found (just a pile of stripped laundry sitting next to the washer), a clogged toilet, and even a pet accident. I didn’t want to throw that big of a fit considering it was so hard to get in touch with anyone anyway. We also had issues with the pool lights and patio lights, went the entire weekend without patio lights and the pool lights only worked half the time. The dumpster on sight was already full from the last guests, a pile of laundry, and a full dishwasher full of dishes. We did have a great weekend after the fact but probably wouldn’t stay again simply because of the way the place was kept and the lack of communication from the property owner.

Had to clean everything.

This was booked for my wedding weekend and ended up being a huge hassle. When we walked in, we instantly realized that a cleaning crew never even stepped foot inside. The beds were slept in, there were dishes in the sink, towels everywhere, along with clothes. We had to clean the pool as it was absolutely atrocious. We even had to fill the pool as it was so low the pump wouldn’t even activate. We had to wash the bedding, all the towels, clean the kitchen, and clean up the whole outdoors (broken glass, trash, clothes) all before even feeling okay about the house. People live there and it’s very obvious with the panty full, and opened packages all over. The one contact I had with this property was also pretty useless. Very upset with this house and would really recommend staying elsewhere, especially with a pandemic going on.

Pool is great, but the rest of the home was OK.

The home is nice and the pool is amazing, however, we felt like we were intruding on a family's personal space. There was an unopened Fed Ex package on the desk along with diapers, unopened mail, etc. The refrigerator was full of stuff, so we had to figure out a way to put our groceries in it. The pantry was full of items, too, with opened chip packages, etc. The showers were full of used bars of soap, razors, etc. Also, the home is listed as sleeping 16, however there weren't enough plates, bowls, or silverware for 16 people and we had 16 in our group.

Great Weekend

Our family of 13 had a great weekend. The house has plenty of space to spread out and the pool was a lot of fun. We hope to return next summer.

This property had an amazing pool and the house was huge! Short walk to the lake also. The property manager was easily accessible. Overall, an enjoyable stay

Super fun place

This property was a perfect weekend getaway for my group of ten. The pool is well maintained, and the lake is a two minute walk away. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and bunks. Towels were provided, the kitchen had adequate utensils, the outdoor grill worked great, and the bluetooth speaker was nice to use at the pool. Downsides: the AC was not working upstairs, so sleeping was pretty toasty. The pool heater controls were a bit hard to find, around the side of the house behind a gate. We also couldn’t find a wifi password. A little more responsiveness from the owner would have made this a five star review. Honestly, a super fun place.

Wedding- Christmas celebration

Loved this large house for our large family to spread out. The heater on the pool was broke the whole time, but they did get the heater fixed on the hot tub for last two days. Was a little odd to come in the house with towels and other laundry laying in the dining room. We also moved things around in the fridge not to get ours mixed with owners. Beds were good except the bunk room. Several of the bridal party chose to sleep on the floor and couches due to bunk beds not being comfortable. Other than those things and the door lock getting stuck, we had a great time relaxing and enjoying family

Thanksgiving weekend.

We had a large group for Thanksgiving and a college football game. The house was perfect. Beautiful location and plenty of room for all of us.

Awesome place!

We rented this property for family coming in for a wedding. The house was huge with plenty of room for everyone. It was set up great and our family really enjoyed staying there.

The Good (95%), The Bad (2.5%), and The Ugly (2.5%)

A little tongue in cheek reference to the old (1966) Clint Eastwood movie for the review, I want to say The Good is truly the overall rating. We loved the property; the home and it’s amenities are wonderful. This is what pulls the high rating and should be what drives your decision to rent. There were just a few things that were concerning that I hope will be taken care of for future guests. I always read reviews and prefer to not be surprised at a rental, so I am giving my observations for the next two sections. The Bad is relating to those items that will take something more than routine housekeeping (not the property). The majority of smoke detectors were removed leaving just the wires, and upstairs guests would have been stranded in the event of a real emergency. An upstairs Bedroom has either a fixture or electrical switch issue that should be fixed. The ice maker and grill fan were both noted as non-operational which also disabled the stove ignition switches. Larry left a note and manual lighters so all went ok. Sounds like they will be ordering parts and fixed soon. The Ugly references those easy to fix items or housekeeping issues that came up (again, not the property). I was a little surprised to see TomCat mouse boxes and was hoping they would be unsuccessful during our stay. I was uncertain as to the expectations as there was only the note regarding the fan, so a notebook that could be left for guests would help with things like WiFi password, garbage removal, and general expectations for guests especially when checking out. There is a really nice aquarium but I wasn’t sure if the fish needed to be fed. We did inquire about a crib when we arrived as we had sent notice we were traveling with two one-year-old babies. The home is not infant ready for sleeping arrangement as is. We appreciated being able to be close to our son’s wedding in Sanger and to have a great place to relax and gather together as a family. The sunsets were gorgeous with the coyotes “singing”. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property!

This property has been our family's retreat for years. We love the quiet escape and proximity to the lake. Waking up in the master bedroom to the view of the lake at sunrise is a perfect start to any morning.

You will feel at home in this cozy, luxurious home. The large kitchen and living room opens straight to the patio with grill, fire pit, hot tub, heated pool and waterfall/slide. Upstairs is a kid's oasis with large bunk room and playroom, complete with video games and TV. Only a quick hike down to the lake front, as well as a stocked pond in your own front yard; fishing poles provided!
