Comfortable apartment in beautiful location

The property is easy to find with plenty of safe street parking. Check in was easy and we met the owner who talked us through the property. Nicole is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. The apartment is very clean and well looked after with everything in the kitchen that you could wish for. We stayed for. Skiing holiday- be warned the roads are very steep and windy to get to Valberg.

Excellent vacation and great hosts

I stayed with my family in Guillaumes at Jean-Pierre and Nicole's apartment. They are incredibly nice, generous and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very nice, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Ideal accommodation for a family or a group. All the amenities and shops are conveniently located and the boulangerie near the apartment sells amazing breads and tarts. We went for a walk of the Daluis Gorges with Jean-Pierre and Nicole and had a great scenic walk and a lovely picnic. We thoroughly recommend this accommodation and Guillaumes as a destination.

We had a great stay in this apartment. Our hosts were lovely - excellent communication prior to arrival, a warm welcome, on hand nearby if needed. Kind and thoughtful. The apartment was very comfortable - plenty of room, light and airy with shutters to keep out the sun as needed. Very clean and well-equipped. The village had everything we needed day to day - good bakery, grocery store, small market with excellent local produce several days a week. Several bars / restaurants. Great location for doing some beautiful walks - took 50 minutes to get to Col de la Cayolle - such fabulous walks from there that we went 3 times in a week. Amazing scenery. And the Gorge on the other side of the village. A day trip to Nice is very doable from Guillame too. Overall, a great location. We would definitely come back to this apartment and would definitely recommend it to others. We’d never been to the Mercantour National Park before - we were super impressed - beautiful scenery, plenty of parking (all free), good paths, well signposted. There was a heatwave across Europe when we were there so we loved the fact that it was 10 degrees cooler up at the Col than in the village - made for a much more comfortable walking temperature. We will definitely be back - feel the area is a real find. Thank you to our lovely hosts.

Very clean and comfortable apartment with everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. Separate garage a short walk from the apartment to store our bikes which was a bonus. Great cycling routes from the centre of the village. Nicole is a lovely host and her gift of homemade raspberry jam was delicious. Lots of restaurants on the road where the apartment is and a nice patisserie too. It is a popular location with plenty of free parking on the road and in nearby car parks.

Schöne Wohnung - klare Empfehlung

Die Wohnung war sehr schön, geräumig, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt! Geschäfte, Bars und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und damit sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Wohnung war ein richtiges Zuhause und sehr guter Ausgangsort für Ausflüge in die schöne Umgebung mit Schluchten und mittelalterlichen Orten.

Très bon séjour

La propriétaire a été très accueillante pendant tout le séjour. Le logement est très agréable. Il est très bien équipé, très propre et très confortable. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances ( nombreuses randonnées aux alentours et villages pittoresques ). La région est magnifique. Nous espérons avoir l'occasion d'y retourner.

Séjour très agréable

Appartement confortable et très bien équipé, situé au cœur du village, juste à côté des commerces indispensables pour ne pas avoir à reprendre la voiture (boucher, boulanger et une petit supérette). De nombreuses randos partent du village et l'entrée des gorges de Daluis est à peine à 5minutes en voitures. Idéal pour une semaine de découverte de la région.

Séjour agréable

Appartement situé au coeur d'un authentique village des Alpes maritimes. Accueil chaleureux des habitants envers les "touristes", désir de leur faire partager les atouts de leur région. Appartement très propre, bien équipé et spacieux donnant sur la place centrale du village.

Recommended Comfortable apartment in centre of village

Nicole was a very good host – friendly, welcoming, happy to answer questions, made sure that we knew how to contact her, without being at all intrusive. The apartment was comfortable with modern shower room and small kitchen fitted to a high standard. We had everything we needed. It was a real bonus to discover that the balcony was wide enough to be furnished with a drinks table, two seats and a parasol. We enjoyed sitting out in the evenings watching the world go by. Shops, bars, restaurants were all within a few yards. There are good, signed walks from the village and more from parking areas slightly further away.
