The Mermaid's Pearl at Sapphire Beach

The Mermaid's Pearl: We invite you to enjoy our thoughtfully renovated and updated studio condo. The kitchen has been outfitted with a new refrigerator, cabinets, stainless steel undermount sink, glass cooktop and beautiful granite countertops. The bathroom has been updated with a vessel sink, granite countertop, and a glass enclosed tiled shower. For added comfort, you will enjoy a new split AC unit, queen gel foam mattress, and two ceiling fans in the living space. The Mermaid's Pearl has been furnished with a new queen bed, queen sized pullout couch and hand painted furniture to help capture the beach vibe. You will have snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels and a carry cooler to enjoy at the beach for your many adventures.

The balcony has been furnished with a teak high top bistro table and chairs to help you enjoy the view. The balcony is fully enclosed with a screen to help deter uninvited flying guests.

Sapphire Beach: It the perfect place to enjoy your vacation. It offers great watersports with an activity kiosk down at the beach, which is only a 5 minute walk away. Our condo offers two pools with one approximately 100 feet from our front door. Sapphire has several bars and restaurants to choose from. You have many day trip options with the onsite marina; including fishing, BVI trips, parasailing, jetski rental, and more. The Mermaid's Pearl is located approximately 1 mile from Redhook where you can find the ferry, grocery, restaurants, shops and bars.

We hope you choose the Mermaid's Pearl for your St. Thomas escape. We also have a sister condo and many contacts to assist if you have multiple parties to accommodate.

The host was welcoming and helpful at every step! The power went out for a brief stint. I called him and he helped me connect to the generator so my friend's medication in the refrigerator would not be compromised. There were numerous amenities that helped--beach chairs, plenty of towels and supplies for the bathroom and kitchen.

Nice comfy place in a private corner of St. Thomas. Hosts are nearby and attentive, some odd quirks that happen in island life that the hosts were quick to respond to. Not too far from restaurants and island nightlife. I enjoyed my stay [except for the bug bites, bring some protection, they'll get you quick :) ]
The white building next to the red rood buildings is a coffee shop and bar/grille with beach access. 5 minute walk if you take you time :)

Everything was nice as expected other than beach access was not as convenient as we had expected. The host was very helpful and responsive to all questions. He made the process very easy and we greatly appreciated the fact that a one-night stay was allowed. It’s a nice place with easy access to the upper pool. The mattress was amazing- one of the most comfortable beds ever! Nice bird’s eye view of Sapphire Beach area.

We had the best and easiest time staying at this property the night before my catamaran cruise. The location was a short cab ride away from the marina and was well stocked for a beach day at Sapphire Beach. Would stay again!

Very clean! Close proximity to the Sapphire Beach and Red Hook. A/C worked really well, which is a blessing in the heat and humidity.Only gripe would be the bed pillow as i wasnt my cup of tea, but not going to ding against the owner as that's a very subjective opinion. You are able to see the ocean from your balcony too, which is a plus! Overall a solid pick and great value!

Michael was very quick to respond when we had an issue finding the condo. Once we made it to the correct spot, everything was wonderful. We were very impressed with all the beach items Michael provided. He had everything you needed for a day on the beach from a cooler to beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. The view was amazing.

I was impressed with all of the amenities and the view. Very quiet, with comfortable beds and seating. My only suggestion would be to add some travel sized toothpaste and mouthwash:) Should have brought my own, but I forgot lol... Very nicely stocked kitchen! Great stay, will come back!

The Mermaid's Pearl was perfect for us after coming off of a week living on a catamaran. The condo was very comfortable, updated, great bathroom, hot shower, comfy bed and pillows and a well stocked kitchen. Loved being able to walk down to Sudi's for a meal or two, as well as down to the Sapphire Beach, We even walked to Pangea for dinner which we highly recommend!! Michael was an excellent host and always easy to get in touch with. We highly recommend the Mermaid's Pearl!!

We are a adventurous family that fell in love with St. Thomas. My wife and I got engaged and married on island! We don't currently live on island, but come to visit as much as possible.

Why they chose this property

After travelling to St. Thomas multiple times, we decided to buy a condo and help others enjoy the island! We were particular about where we wanted to buy on island. After looking at multiple spots we decided that Sapphire was the place to be! We love the snorkeling, great beach area, amenities and the people!

What makes this property unique

This balcony condo has been completely rebuilt after the hurricanes (not so affectionately referred to as IRMARIA). My wife and I thoughtfully designed the space for comfort and luxury for you to enjoy.
