En todas las estaciones, hogar del Manoir du Limodin, XVIII, Monumento Histórico, ISMH, antigua casa del poeta Etienne Jodelle, en la casa de campo contigua a la finca, la cabaña de 220 m, tiene capacidad para 12 personas. Perfect retreat for disney!

Everything about this house was a delight! The communication was second to none, and the arrival process was so easy. The house itself was immaculate, and the lovely touches that made it so Christmassy! We really appreciated it. The house is so close to Disney that it makes it a perfect way to explore and then get back out of the craziness. The house looks even better than the photos and we would definitely stay here again

Great house

The house is perfect for a family getaway. Me and my family had a wedding just outside Paris so the location of this house was perfect (it is also close to a small train station in case you would like to visit Paris). We couldn’t wish for anything more then the house had to offer. Thank you Patricia for the warm welcome and good care!

Perfect for Disney and Paris

A tastefully decorated home with lots of single bed suited to our 3 families group of friends. 20min drive to Disney avoiding toll roads and two stops on fast train to Paris from local station Marles-en-Brie en Brie. Host was very attentive and spoke good English . No hand rail for stairs which we would have found helpful but otherwise a beautiful safe home well equipped home with lovely garden for little one to play in.

Family get together

We needed a large property with plenty of beds for a family wedding in a nearby village. This spot was perfect just a few minutes from the station to pick up family that arrived on different trains! A classy house with beautiful beamed ceilings with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was well appointed and a nice patio area for those al fresco meals. Patricia, our host, was very attentive and was there personally for the check in & check out. All in all a lovely stay only slight niggle was the absence of any double beds I don't know if this is commonn in France?

An idyllic country property with fast rail link to Paris

The Manoir de Limodin 2 is an elegant and delightful property which was ideal for our group of eleven when we spent ten days at the Peris Olympics and sightseeing. It is also a very secure property with electrically operated entrance gates. The property is very well equipped with high end kitchen appliances and an abundance of crockery and cutlery etc. We enjoyed eating dinner in the garden outside around the patio tables and also inside. There are two stations nearby where trains can whisk you into Paris in 35 minutes. There are also excellent road links to places like Fontainebleu, Provins, Disnreyland Paris and the Val D'Europe Shopping Centre. The owner Patricia Aube and Madame Leboucher who wlcomed us to the property are both helpful and charming. The ambiance of the property greatly enhanced our stay in France.

Een leuk verblijf in Limodin!

We hebben het huis gehuurd voor vier dagen. Het is een oud huis met fantastische ambiance. De locatie is heel mooi met veel groen om je heen en toch heel dicht op de provinciale weg zodat je binnen 20 minuten bij Disneyland Park bent. Andere faciliteiten zoals een supermarkt zijn goed te bereiken per auto. Wij hebben ontzettend van genoten en kunnen het huis aan iedereen aanbevelen.

Beautiful Property

We spent a week here in late November. The home was very clean and beautiful with its high ceilings. There was plenty of space for our family of 8. The kitchen was very well stocked and we enjoyed the very large dining table to eat at. The main room was also very cozy with a big fireplace and three sofas, with blankets and pillows. We enjoyed watching the World Cup games, all 8 of us in this main room. We also walked to the town, ate bread from the the bread vending machine (very interesting for us Americans) and we had a very nice dinner at the local restaurant in the town, suggested by our host. This home was very spacious and a wonderful, relaxing stay for our family. FYI for travelers to Paris: One thing to warn you of when taking the train into Paris, make sure you buy the zone 5 tickets. There is no one attending the train booth in Marles-en-brie when we bought our tickets, and we ended up buying the wrong tickets. The English translation on the the ticket machine is not clear in the least bit (we bought tickets that said Paris visites). When we arrived in Paris, a train security worker (seemingly waiting for unsuspecting travelers) took our tickets, wanted our passports (which we didn't give him), told us we bought the wrong tickets, and said we needed to pay the fine of 35 Euros each person or he would call the police. Then another worker came over and pretended to call the police. They were very rude, irrational and since then we have found on google this is happening quite often. So beware. We ended up paying over 200 Euros in fines and tried very hard to not let this experience ruin our day. Patricia learned of the train situation (and mentioned it is not the first time she has see this kind of thing happening) and is now actively working on a solution to facilitate the train issue for her guests. Anyway, we enjoyed meeting Patricia and staying at this wonderful place. We highly recommend it!

Sfeervol verblijf

Prima verblijf met grote tuin- goed uitgeruste keuken en gezellige zithoek. Locatie top- half uur met de trein naar Parijs & 20min naar Eurodisney. In de advertentie niks terugvinden over de trap aan de buitenkant om de woning binnen te gaan, voor minder validen niet toegankelijk. Al met al een prima verblijf en communicatie met eigenaresse ging erg vlot.

Superbe séjour dans une très belle demeure et très agréable à vivre

Wonderful stay!

We needed a large place to stay for a group gathering. This was the perfect find! We loved our time here and especially enjoyed the outside area. Everything was clean and beautiful. The host was kind and welcoming. Would love to come again!

Idéal pour se retrouver à pluseurs familles à 1h de Paris

Nous sommes venus à 3 familles passer 3 jours, vraiment reposants. Le gîte est spacieux, convivial, confortable, pratique... parfait quoi ! tout est à proximité immédiate en voiture. Patricia nous a accueilli très gentiment - à l'écoute de nos questions. Je recommande.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un super week-end entres amis au Limodin. Nous avons même eu la chance d’avoir de la neige, ce qui a rendu le week-end magique. La maison est très bien adaptée pour les groupes de 12 personnes, tant pour les repas que pour les nuits. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Super noël 2020 en famille

Les propriétaires sont charmants et leur accueil extrêmement sympathique et bienveillant. La magnifique et grande pièce à vivre, avec la cheminée et la cuisine ouverte, permet de créer rapidement une ambiance chaleureuse. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes, sauf le dortoir, et manquent peut-être de rangement. Ce noël 2020 a été magique et laissera de beaux souvenirs à chacun.

Great Home for Families and Big Groups!

We loved staying at this beautiful home during my brother’s wedding weekend. The house is spacious, perfect for a large group or family and with all of the kitchen equipment necessary to cook at home. I would recommend this home to anyone staying in La Houssaye-en-Brie.

Perfect for families!

A big family from Sweden rented this house in the summer of 2019. And it was perfekt! Just the right distance from Disney and Paris. The owner Patricia was really nice and helpful too, and gave us useful tips on adventures. Without her we probably wouldn't go to the candlelit evening at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, highly recommended! Thanks!

Spacieux et tout confort

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au manoir du Limodin. Le gîte est une partie du manoir, en fait, d'où l'entrée par l'escalier. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a un logement loué de façon permanente. Le gîte se compose de 4 chambres (3 a l'étage du gîte avec une salle de bain commune et un WC séparé) avec chacune 2 lits simples. Au niveau principal une chambre avec sa salle de bains et WC privatif ainsi qu'un grand dortoir de 5 lits simples. Le concept du dortoir séduira petits et grands. Aussi une salle de bain avec WC. Un grand séjour, une longue table a manger et une cuisine ouverte. Dans l'entrée on a accès a un WC et une buanderie. Je recommande ce gîte pour les familles nombreuses ou les groupes. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour convivial entre amis ou famille. Merci.

Super house in a lovely location

We stayed at Limodin for an extended family holiday including visits to Disneyland. The property is in a beautiful quiet location with good faciities and plenty of space for adults and youngsters. Conveniently located for Disney, Paris and the towns and countryside of the Isle de France. Patricia was very helpful, friendly and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend.

Fantastische woning

Zeer ruime woning, met prima faciliteiten. Heel sfeervol en wordt sinds begin 2018 verhuurd. Vanuit deze woning is Eurodisney prima te bereiken en ook Parijs is eenvoudig te bezoeken. Woning is te bereiken via een trap aan de buitenzijde van het huis, dus niet geschikt voor minder mobiele personen. Enigszins tegenvallend is de hoge borgsom van € 800,00 maar dat was van te voren wel bekend. Al met al zeer de moeite waard om deze woning gehuurd te hebben voor een week in augustus 2018.
