Tout était vraiment parfait. En plus les chambres sont très grande ce qui a permis à nos enfants de pouvoir nous rejoindre. Un grand merci à Kate et Nicolas pour leur accueil.

Séjour exceptionnel

Nous remercions nos hôtes pour notre séjour à la Bastide. Nous avons passé un super moment en famille. Le cadre est magnifique, la maison est bien située en Ardèche. Nous recommandons le séjour les yeux fermés ! À bientôt peut-être !

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé une belle semaine chez Kate et nicholas qui sont chanteurs lyrics et nous avons eu la chance de les entendre travailler , un bonheur pour les oreilles 😍 cette demeure est superbe , nous avons bien profité de la grande piscine vu qu'on était en alerte canicule 🥵 , n'hésitez pas ,allez y vous serez très bien reçu et c'est un vrai dépaysement. On y retournera .

eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft in außergewöhnlicher Umgebung

Wir haben sowohl das Tal der Ardeche als auch das Ambiente unserer historischen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr sympathisch. Wir bekamen von Ihnen Tipps für Unternehmungen, super Mountainbikes und sogar frische Eier. Die Tage waren ausgefüllt mit Schwimmen, Radfahren, Wandern, einer Kanutour, Besichtigung der schönen Dörfer, Einkaufen auf den Märkten... und natürlich gemütlichen Stunden auf der Terasse mit weitem Landschaftsblick. Es war ein Urlaub wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Danke Kate und Nick!

beautiful stay in the bastide

We had a great 4 days in this beautiful house in the Ardèche. The owners were very friendly and flexibel. It's very nicely located, with a 270 degrees view from the garden and swimmingpool. The rooms are looking great, arw spacious and 3 of them have an en-suite. We would rate the house with a nine and not a ten, because of the fact that the house has a mixed living room, dining room and kitchen and because of the appartment is located on the top floor, there are no big windows to enjoy the (amazing!) view. For the rest; it is a great please and we really enjoyed our stay.

Goed verblijf!

Mooie vakantiewoning, een prachtig gerestaureerd middeleeuws fort. De communicatie met Kate verliep prima. Ze is gastvrij, altijd in voor een praatje en zorgt ervoor dat de gasten een goed verblijf hebben. De vakantiewoning ligt in een mooie omgeving, vooral bij de rivier in het dorpje Balazuc is prachtig. Enig minpuntje is dat je op bovenste verdieping verblijft, dus je moet wel steeds de trappen op, maar dat stond wel duidelijk op de site van Homeaway. Verder is het snel warm in de woning, gelukkig staan er genoeg ventilatoren.

très bon séjour

Superbe gîte, rénové avec beaucoup de goût, belle décoration, bien chauffé, calme. Cuisine bien équipée. Literie de qualité. 2 lits parapluie et 1 chaise haute à disposition si besoin. Pas de machine à laver dans le gîte. Il faut passer par les chambres pour avoir accès à chacune des 3 salles de bain, ce qui peut-être problématique la nuit pour ceux qui occupent la 4eme chambre et qui doivent ou rentrer dans une autre chambre, ou se rendre à la salle de bain qui se trouve à l'extérieur du gite, à l'étage inférieur. Gite situé à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques. Hôte très sympathique et très réactive.

Exceptionnel

Nous étions une famille sur 3 générations avec 6 adultes, 2 enfants et un bébé. Au coeur d'une région riche en sites naturels et historiques où nous avons randonné, le fort est très beau, très authentique, l'accueil discret mais sympathique par une hôtesse anglophone qui se débrouille très bien en français et loge au rez de chaussée et au premier, disponible pour résoudre un petit problème électroménager, une bonne bouteille offerte pour un anniversaire. Le gîte est au 2ème étage, comportant une grande salle de séjour avec cuisine américaine sur laquelle donnent 4 chambres spacieuses dont 3 avec salle de bains et WC : pas de queue pour la toilette.Très belle charpente apparente dans toutes les pièces, décoration soignée. Excellente isolation des chambres. Un petit bémol : des vélux, pas de vraie vue sur le beau paysage, sauf à l'extérieur où on peut manger et se relaxer autour du fort. C'était vraiment un séjour de rêve dans un grand gîte de charme pour un prix très raisonnable. Thank you so much, Kate ! We hope we'll come back !
