Este es un nuevo alojamiento que se terminó en el otoño de 2018.
Tiene un hermoso entorno con un montón de cedro en las paredes. El exterior tiene troncos de cedro para acentuar el frente. Está rodeado de árboles y de una zona tranquila.

Wonderful relaxing stay

This was just what we were looking for our family get together .The lodge was cozy and location very quiet. Jeff was a terrific host. Carrolton has some nice shops and places to eat. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in the country I wouldn’t hesitate to book this location.

Great Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Jeff’s place. Jeff greeted us when we arrived & was close by if we needed anything. The property was very clean, comfortable & my husband loved fishing at the pond.

Annual Family Reunion

We stayed here last year for our family reunion and enjoyed it so much, we came back this year. This place is home away from home. Jeff is becoming part of the family. We will definitely return next year.

Peaceful & Welcoming

5J Hunt’s has a magnificent scenery displayed on the outside of the home, and around the land. The inside of the home is super clean, completely cozy, and comfortable. We even got to meet Jeff, and he was extremely helpful on helping us figure out how to do the Wi-Fi. The night time sky was absolutely glorious as well. We got the bonus pleasure of looking actually seeing the northern lights during our stay!!!

Home away from home

We stayed at Jeff's property for a Family Reunion. Jeff sent us directions and access information immediately. We arrived at the location without any problem. The lodge was open and ready for us. As it turned out, Jeff knows our family and we spent a little time together just talking about the area where we grew up. It was like visiting family and staying the night. We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

So glad we found this property. It was worth every penny!

My family has camped a LOT this summer in an effort to get out of the city/suburbs. We have our own trailer but were unable to find a spot to camp for Labor Day weekend. My daughter and husband share a birthday on Sept. 6th and wanted so badly to camp or just get away. Due to COVID, we didn't want to stay in a highly populated area and we didn't want to stay in a hotel. I was so pleased when we found this location. Jeff responded immediately to my initial email so I booked right away. When we arrived Jeff and his wife greeted us and made us feel at home. They couldn't have been more polite and welcoming. He made sure we knew we could text him if there was anything we needed and we did just that. He was always responsive to my questions and so helpful. This trip was exactly what we wanted. The lodge/cabin was so much nicer than we expected and so clean. The property was GORGEOUS. and QUIET...So QUIET (Be sure to have your coffee on the patio in the mornings). Town was only about a 12 minute drive and the store had everything we needed. They had a baby cow not even a minutes walk from our front door and they even let my daughter help feed him his bottle. This was definitely a birthday she will never forget! She even told us she wanted us to buy the cabin and move in :) We all wanted to be away from the craziness of city life in 2020 and into a much simpler life in the country even if just for 3 days. Jeff and his family provided that and so much more. We came back home relaxed and wishing we could go back. We will definitely keep this in our favorites and visit again. Things to keep in mind about this property: 1. You are on a farm so you will smell farm smells when you arrive but I promise you won't notice them on day two. . AT ALL 2. You will drive down rock roads to get to the property. (don't take hwy 254, it is a dirt road and Jeff made sure we knew that before heading there)...again, he is a very good communicator. 3. The lake is behind the property accessible only by foot. The path is well kept and mowed, only maybe 2-3 min from the front door. 4. The lodge has only twin beds. You won't mind though because they are REALLY comfortable. 5. You will not regret your visit! Don't wait to book! You will love the scenery and the quiet!

Lodge was amazing, the owner made us feel right at home. The pond was awesome for swimming, fishing, and had a paddle boat. This place was a great getaway!!!

Gorgeous piece of God's country!

If you are looking to get away from the city or hustle and bustle of a busy life, this is an amazing getaway! The property owner couldn't be nicer and the lodge/cabin couldn't have been cleaner! This place was immaculate, beautiful, comfortable and had everything you need to have a very pleasant vacation! The property is beautiful, in a country setting, complete with a beautiful pond! We had a great, quiet getaway and we hope we can visit again in the future! Jeff, thank you for being so kind and helpful!
