The Old Nest is a home with 8 bedrooms on the upper floor. The 8 bedrooms each have a farm animal theme, we offer space for 20 sleeping places. 2 single box spring beds can be added, creating 22 sleeping places. On the ground floor there is a stylish catering kitchen, a living room and a games room that is separated with a sliding wall. The living room has a projector, TV and modern sound system. the building is equipped with network connections and WIFI. Pets are welcome. Verrassend onaangename ervaring
Het leek allemaal zo mooi op de foto's. En we hadden er ook erg veel zin in. De eerste indruk was goed en we werden gastvrij ontvangen. Het verblijf was in eerste instantie niet onaangenaam. Na twee prima dagen begon de ellende. De huiseigenaar begon al met schoonmaken terwijl wij nog in een werksessie zaten. Hierdoor was het onmogelijk om het huis nog een keer te controleren op vergeten spullen en om eventueel nog op te ruimen. Na ons gedwongen gehaaste vertrek kregen wij een uur later een app bericht waarin direct werd meegedeeld dat de borg werd ingehouden. Dit omdat er bij het aanschuiven de bovenkant van een houten stoel was afgebroken en er nog gebroken glas lag.
Uiteraard begrijpen wij dat dit wat kosten met zich mee kan brengen en we vonden het dan ook vervelend dat we dit niet op hebben kunnen ruimen. Echter is het inhouden van de borg voor dit ongelukje alleen maar BIZAR te noemen.
Ondanks herhaalde excuses kwam de huiseigenaar zeer agressief over, wat op ons een erg onaangename indruk heeft achtergelaten.
We hebben gezocht naar een oplossing maar er was geen discussie mogelijk.
LET OP als je dit huis boekt: grote kans dat je de hoge borg niet meer terug ziet!

Zeer mooie en ruime groepsaccommodatie
De communicatie met Andrew ging erg makkelijk en bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen. Alle faciliteiten waren aanwezig en er was een grote, gezamenlijke begane grond waar veel te doen was op het gebied van spellen.
De accommodatie was erg netjes en alle benodigdheden waren aanwezig, zoals keukengerei.
De La Trappe excursie is zeker een aanrader in de buurt (Berkel-Enschot).

Geweldig, wat een ruimte en mogelijkheden !
Een prachtige locatie om met een grote groep te verblijven. Wat vooral opvalt is de ruimte van zowel de woon-, eet- en zitkamer. Ook de keuken is ruim en goed geoutilleerd. Een speelkamer, wederom zeer ruim met biljart, darts, tafelvoetbal en sjoelbak. Ook aan de kleintjes is op dit gebied gedacht. Buiten in de tuin is een overdekte en gezellige plek om te borrelen en de buitenhaard aan te steken.
Met zorg ingerichte slaapkamers met goede bedden en uitstekend sanitair.
Voor ons absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar !

Heerlijk weekend in een ruim en gezellig huis
Zeer mooi afgewerkt huis en van alle gemakken voorzien. Leuk voor jong en oud. Aardige mensen die graag willen dat je het naar je zin hebt.
Een aanrader voor een ieder die gezellig weg gaat met een grotere groep mensen die graag met elkaar een weekend willen doorbrengen!

Ruim opgezet, gezellig, warm, heerlijk er te zijn
Met 10 volwassenen en 12 kinderen tussen 0 en 12 jaar is het heerlijk om in deze ruime boerderij te zijn !!
Wij hebben allemaal genoten, heerlijk gekookt in de grote keuken!
Wat wij nidig hadden was er!!
