We loved our stay at this charming, cozy cabin! The location is an excellent base for exploring Glacier’s east side, especially Many Glacier. Our host was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. After a long day hiking Grinnell Glacier, coming back to the cabin’s peaceful setting was the perfect way to unwind. It felt like a retreat, not just a place to sleep. We would happily stay again—highly recommend!

We really appreciated the time we spent at this property. The host was very responsive when we ran into an unexpected property maintenance problem. Having an opportunity to have a friendly welcoming chat with both of them one afternoon was delightful. We love hiking in Glacier National Park so likely will return to make this remarkable little cabin our base camp.

Our hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect—just the right distance from the east side of Glacier National Park, making it easy to enjoy the park while still having a peaceful place to relax. The house was the perfect size for our family of four. The Wi-Fi worked great, which was especially appreciated since there is no cell service in the area. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we all enjoyed restful nights of sleep after our daily adventures.Thank you both for helping make this trip so special. We made unforgettable memories here with our two young boys, and this will always be a place we remember fondly.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location near Babb was perfect for exploring Glacier National Park, with convenient access to both St. Mary and the Many Glacier area. It was an ideal home base for our adventures and made it easy to get an early start and maximize our time in the park. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the accommodations had everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The kitchen was especially well-equipped for preparing breakfast, packing lunches, and getting ready for a full day of exploring. Having those amenities made such a difference after long days on the trails. Our hosts were truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to provide helpful directions, recommendations for places to visit, and suggestions for hikes both within Glacier and in the surrounding area. Their local knowledge made our trip even more memorable and helped us discover some wonderful spots we might otherwise have missed. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay while exploring the east side of Glacier National Park, we highly recommend this property. The location, comfortable bed, thoughtful amenities, and outstanding hospitality made it the perfect base for our trip. We would absolutely stay here again!

We live in Jacksonville, Florida during the winter months and spend the summers at Duck Lake, Mt near Glacier National Park. We fell in love with this area when we first visited in the mid-1990s and were fortunate to buy property at Duck Lake in 2005. In 2017, we started renovations on our A-frame cabin and in 2019 had our first guests. We were unable to open in 2020 due to covid-19 and are thrilled to be back open for the 2021 season.

We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking (mainly Ken), rafting, and horseback riding. It is especially enjoyable taking hikes in the backcountry of GNP when the weather is ideal, and the popular trails are busy. We also frequent the local performing art events and especially enjoy watching the enthusiasm of the young artists.

Ken is a retired Naval Officer and Networking Technology Professor and has visited and lived in several countries in the orient. Gena has an MBA, spent a year working in Mexico City with Arthur Anderson Accounting firm before she found her calling as a Computer Information Systems Professor where she worked until she recently retired (and where she met Ken).

We enjoy meeting our guests and sharing our knowledge of the area with them.

We have two small dogs Ruby and Ziggy

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose this property because it was close to the Many Glacier and St Mary entrances to the park. It is very quiet away from the busy tourist areas outside the gates of Glacier. The main thing that attracted us about this location is the panoramic views of the mountains from our lot.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Our property is unique since it is close to multiple GNP entrances but away from heavy traffic and noise. It provides beautiful panoramic views of the mountain range.
