About this property
Cozy Private Suite w/ Fireplace, Indoor Sauna & Deck. Close to everything!
Welcome to lake arrowhead! Recently renovated after a 2 year hiatus, this private guest suite built into the lower level of our cabin has its own handcrafted entrance and includes a full kitchen, fireplace, gigabit Wi-Fi, bedroom, living room, and a Finnish-style dry sauna fit for four. Over the years we've continuously improved and updated the space, adding features and gradually shaping it into a place we'd be excited to stay in ourselves.
Several hiking trails and the lake can be reached right from the front door, while Lake Arrowhead Village, restaurants, grocery stores, and more are only a short drive away. Guests also have access to private Lake Arrowhead - swimming, fishing, and lake access to Peninsula Park are all within walking distance of the property (subject to ALA regulations and guest registration).
We live upstairs and manage the rental ourselves, but guest interaction is entirely up to you. We have aggressively soundproofed between the floors of the house, so the most guests will hear of our presence is a few footsteps. Play music, watch movies, talk and laugh and cook a feast - none of it will disturb us, and none of us doing the same will disturb you! Most guests never see us during their stay, though we're nearby if needed. We miss the original idea of hosts and guests actually interacting, so feel free to say hello or reach out if you need recommendations.
Amenities include: • Finnish-style indoor dry sauna • Fully stocked kitchen • Wood fireplace • Gigabit Wi-Fi • Private entrance with self check-in • Parking for up to 3 vehicles • Arrowhead Lake access is available to registered guests • Hiking trails nearby • Minutes from Lake Arrowhead Village, beach parks and more.
Whether you're here to hike, spend time at the lake, explore the forests, or simply relax for a few days, we hope you enjoy your time in the mountains.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We visited during a winter storm. The host was very responsive and cleared the driveway to help us get in and out. The grill, sauna, fireplace, and hot chocolate made for very pleasant evenings! Lake Arrowhead Village is nearby and is a pleasant place for food. Highly recommend staying here!
This place was awesome! Clean and cozy. Property manager had good communication. My only complaint about the stay isn't about the house. It's more of a warning to whoever stays there. Don't eat at the Mexican food place in the Village. 2 asada plates, 1 enchilada plate, a cheese quesadilla costs $78. Not worth it. Lol... I would definitely recommend the Belgian waffle place. And for sure recommend this place for your stay!
It was a cozy place and the perfect size for my little family of 3. My 13 yo loved the bunk bed. The owners were so accommodating and made the entire process, including check out, extremely easy (easiest check out process I've ever experienced). The fireplace was nice and easy to use. I didn't use the sauna or lake pass so I can't comment on those amenities. The only downside was the lack of a sink in the kitchenette but the hot water in the bathroom sink worked well so I had no issues washing dishes there. The heaters worked great as well. I would definitely rent again.
This rental is amazing for a close group of adults or small family. Best part is the owner gives you access to the exclusive lake association entrances. One thing to note is the continental style eating, can only prepare in toaster oven or microwave. Grocery store close by, Jensens, has great deli options. Owner living above was barely noticeable. Would definitely stay here in the winter time for the suana and travel to the slopes, the scenery is so much nicer.
While the place did not have a kitchen, we thoroughly enjoyed the space. The owner left clear instructions and plenty of amenities to make our stay convenient. The fireplace was one of our favorite features along with access to streaming services. We loved coming back after our hiking adventures to relax in this cozy and comfortable little home away from home. We even tried out the sauna! What a cool feature!
Sauna, access to semi-private beach, fireplace, so many little extras to make your stay extra special. Close to trails. Easy parking. Owner is fantastic with great and quick communication. Would book again and again!
Great little place with super deck. Never even know the owners are above you (yet Caleb is very responsive and nice if you need anything). We went on a several hour hike right from the house both days - up the mountain and on the lake trail - VERY few people (almost none) on either trail. Easy access to the lake and a nice little beach/swimming area - if you do not mind a few long staircases to the beach. Be sure to bring the pass card provided. Keep in mind that there is no stovetop (and only a toaster oven/microwave) for inside cooking. And no kitchen sink. We grilled out both evenings and even figured out how to do eggs on the grill one morning. Bring your own pan for this. The only downside for us is that we were looking for more of a feeling of solitude. But as Google maps will show you, the deck overlooks the main road that goes around the lake. Some traffic noise when you are on the deck. I don't remember it once inside. For the budget-minded travelers - this is a wonderful spot!
