The Lake Brownwood Get-Two-gether Lakefront House and Cabin located in Cason Cove, a secluded no wake zone cove.
House, 3 Bedroom/2 Bathroom/Sleeps 6 (2 queens, 2 twins)
Cabin, 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom/Sleeps 7 (2 fulls, 1 twin over full bunk, 1 futon couch)
Sleeps 14 in beds, Perfect for multiple families to gather. Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. (Please be courteous and leave room for our neighbors.)
Beautiful 3 bed, 2 bath house and separated 1 bed, 1 bath cabin located in Cason Cove with three level porch and dock overlooking Lake Brownwood. Cason Cove is a no wake zone, so no need to worry about boats speeding by. When the lake is full, the water is approximately 14 feet deep off the dock.
Fully furnished main house with one queen master, one queen bedroom, a day bed with trundle (2 twins) bedroom, and two full bathrooms. Master bath has standing shower and second bath has a tub and shower. Includes full kitchen with full size fridge, dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave. A couch, two chairs, and recliner chair as well as a TV is available in the living room. Washer and dryer off the kitchen are also available for use. Three level porch attached to main house with ample seating, picnic table, grill and Blackstone. (Please make sure grill is not up against house/siding. The heat will melt the siding and has the potential to start a fire.)
Cabin is fully furnished as well, with one bedroom containing three full beds, futon in main living area, and full bathroom with standing shower. Kitchen has full size fridge, microwave, stove. Living area has 2-in-1 ping pong/ pool table.
Enjoy the outdoors with a quick swim off the dock or playing in the yard. Two KAYAKs are available for use too!!! Utilize the dock to tie your boat up to. Don't let the fun disappear with the sun, enjoy cooking s'mores at the fire pit that overlooks the lake.

The house is conveniently located about a mile from a public boat ramp. The Hideout Golf Course, a well-manicured 18-hole golf course, is located 2.4 miles away. Wild Duck Marina is 8.4 miles away and offers live music, food, gas, and other lake necessities. A small grocery store, Big Gs Foods, is 5.8 miles away and a convenience store, E-Z Mart, is 6.9 miles away. The town of Brownwood is also only approximately 12 miles away.

Pets are welcome, but please take care and pick up and clean up after them.
Smoking is not allowed in the house.
Please note that some furnishings in the house are antiques and require additional care.
There is WiFi, and there is a TV with Dish Network and lots to do outside!!
Cell phone service is spotty but not too bad with AT&T, unsure about other networks.
Please do not touch boat that is on property or try to gain access to locked doors.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Make sure stairs on the dock are pulled out of the water to prevent algae and slipperiness.

Please turn thermostat to cool at 84 degrees on auto.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Do not try to gain access to locked closets and garages.

Do not store any caught fish in fridges or freezers. Please use own cooler to prevent smells in the house.

Keep grills and ovens clean, turn off propane after use. Make sure grill is not against house/siding when in use or hot. May melt siding/start fire.

Perfect get away

The place was really nice, quiet and relaxing. There was plenty of space for all of us. We fished and swam off the boat dock and enjoyed our time together. We definitely recommend this place and hopefully will return soon.

We had a great time. The dock is awesome, my pontoon boat fit like a glove. Beds were really nice and comfortable, kitchen was very well equiped. Next year we will bring the grandkids since there is so much room. Book it and enjoy a good time!!!

The overall experience was pretty good. We enjoyed the convenience of being on the water and being relatively close to town. The refrigerator was not very clean so we cleaned it before we put our groceries inside. Had to kill a large cockroach in the master bath, but I understand being near water. It’s difficult.

Peaceful getaway

We had a great time with family and friends celebrating our daughter’s graduation. The houses were clean and spacious. The separate game room/extra beds in back helped some relax in the main house and others playing pool and being a little louder out back. The view of the lake is perfect from the porch and the cove was very peaceful.
