River's Reach is a cozy, rustic cabin right on the ELLIJAY RIVER. What better place to relax, maybe fish for trout of the deck, tube down the river, soak in the covered hot tub (no raindrops in your wine!) Roast s'mores over the waterside firepit, then later snuggle up and enjoy a movie by the woodburning fireplace. As one of Sliding Rock Cabins' romantic 1 bedroom properties River's Reach offers a perfect getaway for two. Woodburning fireplace, Propane grill, firepit, Wireless DSL, flatscreen TV's in living room and bedroom. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was nice. Cabin could use some upgrades. Ho tub cover was so water logged you could hardly pick it up. Couldn’t take it completely off too heavy. Sofa needs to be replaced and a new can opener. Will definitely come back but a different cabin. Won’t rent that one again. Maybe one that not as close to other cabins, a little more private. Hopefully see you again in a few months.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: went the 1st 5 days without TV or internet. Then a construction crew was building a cabin, listening to constant jack hammering was brutal. The last 4 days of our stay was very relaxing since no construction crew due to the chance of ran.

We had everything we needed in the cabin, and Sliding Rock provided helpful instructions and guides. I would suggest updating the mattress, but overall, our stay was enjoyable. We would like to check out some of the other cabins bu sliding rock. I loved that the deck had gates all the way around, so our dog couldn't wander off while we were out there. Having a fenced-in yard area for the dog was also a big plus.

This property was very nice. We enjoyed listening to the river while sitting outside and in the hot tub. Everything was very comfortable and our dogs liked it as well.

Beautiful view, but first thing you smell walking in is wet dog-it’s time for a deep clean bedspread upgrade-at least wash?, sofa cleaning, duct cleaning? I am disabled, I didn’t know there were 5 steps into home, had I wouldn’t booked. The mattress is a cheap & uncomfortable. The pillows are old, flat & worn out. Even in the decorative sham pillows too. My severe back& cervical spasms were flared by both. I think a mattress upgrade, at least adding a gel foam topper/some much upgraded pillows & more than 2. I had just come from a different cabin-stayed 2 weeks-dog friendly NO dog odors. Bed was incredibly comfortable, cozy upgraded along with great pillows.I haven’t slept that well in a long time. The bed/pillows are one of the most important points at a rental not just the view. My entire body was in spasms by night 3 from the worn out mattress/pillows. River view wouldn’t be enough for me to sleep in that bed again. I’m bedridden today from struggling up/down those steps loading car 2.5 hrs. I used to own a beach rental. Guest comfort, attention to all detail, replacing over used/worn out anything are a MUST!!- hardly any knives/forks-go to good will & pick up a matching-cheap set, a chefs knife & cutting board for cutting veggies, I appreciated the beautiful view, the newer pots/pan/mixing/storage bowls & CUTE cabin but bed/bedding, sofa/recliner need work/cleaning. I noticed recliner had old cig burns. Nice lamps and porch rockers. Bulbs over table need replacing.
