The “Aggemari” villa is an impressive tourist residence situated alongshore of the bay of Gera, in the region of Pigadakia, just 12 km outside the town of Mytilini. Explore the modern facilities and services provided in the villa, in its comfortable and cozy areas. In front of the villa there is a small beach where you can enjoy swimming, water sports, hiking, cycling, or you can wander around the wetlands, admire the grandeur of nature, while looking at the amazing scenery of the bay.The wider region of Gera is known for its alternate scenery, making it ideal for nature-loving walks. You can choose among the hiking routes, cycling or horseback riding and discover the unique beauty of the scenery.

The residence is designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding guests. With big bright and ergonomically designed spaces, it offers you comfort and safety in a warm and stylish environment.

The residence consists of two floors. On the ground floor there is a W.C., a double bed bedroom and a large open space where the modern fully equipped kitchen and a large living room with a corner sofa, a smart 40' TV, home cinema, hidden lighting and a fireplace are located. Two large French windows lead to the veranda in the front yard where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the sea. The area has also an interior marble staircase leading to the first floor.

The first floor consists of a bathroom equipped with a hydro massage shower cabin and three large bright rooms, a double bed bedroom and two rooms for children. All rooms are equipped with large sliding closets as well as with the necessary furniture for a comfortable and restful stay. They also have large balconies with spectacular view where you can enjoy your morning or afternoon coffee.
The bay of Gera is an important wetland of unique beauty on the island of Lesvos. Surrounded by small, enchanting, quiet and organized beaches, picturesque villages and rich fauna and flora, this region is bound to win you over!

Lovely Lesvos

Such a delightful and relaxing week for our family. A quiet and relaxing location on Gera Bay not to far from Mytilene. Katerina is wonderful host. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay and highly recommend Villa Aggemmari.

Quiet home away from town

Our family stayed here while volunteering at Moria. It's a ten minute ride to the camp, feeling like you are out on the ocean but country side at the same time! It's a very peaceful and relaxing place and the kitchen is equipped for cooking. Although there are stores driving distance away, there are no shops, markets or restaurants right near by. Owner was always available and a joy to interact with.

Fabulous home!

We rented this home for a team of seven medical volunteers working on Lesvos. While we can't comment on the loveliness of the home for 'vacation' purposes, we certainly can report that this home is very comfortable! Katerina was a wonderful hostess - she met us at the airport, escorted us to the property, and was available during our stay for anything we needed. The weather was very cold during our stay and we were working nights - so the warm showers and excellent heating were very much appreciated!! This is a lovely place to stay and I hope that I can return with my family for a holiday sometime soon!

WONDERFUL SEA VIEW VILLA

My family and I had an incredible time staying in this place.The villa is such a beautiful and special place and we loved staying there. We also really appreciated (and visited) many of the recommendations provided by Katerina. We loved spending time in the house and especially the kids were impressed with the garden! The house is as beautiful as in pictures and the details are even better in person. The accommodation is clean, amazing surrounding area (flowers, trees, lighting), beautifully decorated and the location couldn't be better. Also the house was fully equipped with everything we needed (and more). I would definitely recommend it!

Lovely up-to date villa with great views!

We ( me, my wife, and 2 adult children in their 20’s) had a great three nights at this villa. We especially enjoyed the dramatic view from the front covered porch and the upper balcony. This villa has state of the art kitchen and bathrooms, as well as top notch lighting, great landscaping, and very nice finishes and decorative touches throughout. As an architect I tend to notice detail, and clearly a lot of thought and care went into this villa. Katerina was very helpful with suggestions for shopping, swimming and eating. It was too bad that we had only a short time to enjoy this villa, but we plan to be back in a few years!

Wonderful Vacation

We returned yesterday from our weeks holiday in lesvos and I can honestly say I did not want to leave. Katrina met us at airport and helped us settle in, she was also really helpful when we had questions or enquiries about island. The villa itself is beautiful, has everything you need and is very comfortable, I read in a previous review that the pictures do not do it justice and this is true. The attention to detail is amazing. One of my favourite things was after a hot day of sight seeing, getting back to the villa throwing on swimming costumes and literally running across the road into the sea with my children. The road is a quiet 1 car lane, so the sea really is close to the property and it's lovely for the children. Sandy bottomed and shallow, but swim out a little for the adults and it's deeper. Please note a few pebbles to walk across to get to sand but there is a little pathway and it really is only a couple of steps. We are already trying to work out when we can return. Wir können die Villa Allgemari einfach nur weiterempfehlen!Von dem ersten Kontakt, die Buchung und die herzliche Begrüßung hat uns von Anfang an nichts gefehlt.Die Lage, die Aussicht und die Austattung sind einfach perfekt.Auch über das Willkommenstablett mit regionalen Zutaten und für das erste Frühstück haben wir uns wirklich sehr gefreut :-))) Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür! Die Villa war unser Ausgangsort um unsere Famile auf Lesbos zu besuchen.Mit dem Auto waren wir schnell in Mytilini. Im Außenbereich ist alles vorhanden um sich wohlzufühlen.Ein Grill, Sitzgelegenheiten, Schaukeln und für jeden!!! ist eine Liege vorhanden. Das Meer ( Den Golf von Geras ) genau vor der Tür.Einfach herrlich!! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir empfehlen diese tolle Haus von ganzem Herzen weiter.Hier paßt einfach alles und jeder findet ein eigenes Plätzchen für sich. Wir wünschen weiterhin nur nette Gäste, die dieses Haus genauso als ein "Zuhause auf Zeit" sehen, wie wir auch!!! Herzlichen Dank für alles und wir würden gerne wieder Ihre Gäste sein! Wonderful & modern home on a great location

As a group of 10 people we stayed at this house for 3 nights. The house was cozy warm (cold November days), modern and new, equipped with everything we needed and spacious enough for our big group. The location is just great and we could only imagine, how beautiful it must be during a warmer season to enjoy the spacious garden and a swim in the sea. Katerina is a wonderful host! She extra arranged 2 more beds prior to our arrival and was very quick and helpful in answering all of our questions. We can only warmly recommend this place and would love to be back once in a warmer season.

Amazing retreat

Five of us stayed at the villa and we were all blown away when we first arrived. The villa is spacious, clean and feels homely. The views are amazing and we enjoyed our breakfast looking out over the sea and mountains every morning. Katerina was incredibly welcoming and couldn't have done any more for us. We have all come away saying that we would love to come back and would recommend it to any one wanting to get away from the business of every day life. There are a couple of taverna's in walking distance and for everything else the villa is in a great location for driving to most places on the island. Thanks Katerina for a great 10 days.

Great stay

Superb stay at wonderful Villa Aggemari

We stayed for five days at this lovely property. The owner Katerina gave us a fantastic welcome and introduction to the villa. She provided an excellent welcome hamper of various delights! The pictures do not do it justice frankly, it is even better than it looks! The cleanliness was second to none, and everything has been thought of throughout. The whole interior (and exterior areas including the gardens) are immaculate. We have stayed in many houses and villas abroad over the years and this really did surpass them all. We would love to stay again when we hopefully return to Lesvos, and would thoroughly recommend the villa. Many thanks Katerina and we hope to see you again! Michaela & Chris.

The bay of Gera is an important wetland of unique beauty on the island of Lesvos. Surrounded by small, enchanting, quiet and organized beaches, picturesque villages and rich fauna and flora, this region is bound to win you over!
Pigadakia, the seaport of the village Kato Tritos, is a coastal region that extends to the northwest side of the bay.

The particularly narrow mouth of the bay gives the impression of a lake, while the morphology of the ground and the “lace-like” coastline is ideal for wonderful walks.

At a short distance from Pigadakia, several small and beautiful villages are located, such as Ippeios, Papados, Palaiokipos, Mesagros, Skopelos, Plakados, Perama as well as the traditional settlements of Agiasos and Asomatos.

In these villages you will come across picturesque taverns with exquisite meze (tidbits), while at Perama you can enjoy a wonderful boat tour in the quiet waters of the bay.
The wider region of Gera is known for its alternate scenery, making it ideal for nature-loving walks. You can choose among the hiking routes, cycling or horseback riding and discover the unique beauty of the scenery.

If you are a fan of fishing, the warm waters of the bay of Gera offer a variety of fish and seafood.

At a short distance from Pigadakia you will encounter wonderful beaches not only on the outside but also on the inside of the bay, such as the beach of Evreiaki, Tarti and Hagios Isidoros in Plomari, where you can enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters of the island.

In the east coast of the bay of Gera, at a distance of 3 km from Pigadakia, you will find the thermal baths “Therma”. The water gushes from marble taps into two separate pools (men’s and women’s), creating the perfect conditions for a natural hydro massage. The temperature of the water is ideal and the bath is more than satisfying.

If you are a bird watching aficionado or if you simply want to live a unique experience, you can become acquainted with unique species of migrating birds
