Direct Oceanfront Condo has floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, which offers an impressive view of the ocean all day and night! Imagine yourself relaxing on the beach watching the ocean unfurl while the breeze nourishes your soul. Your mind is at ease, just nature at its best. The condo is a well-appointed two bedroom and two bath that sleeps a maximum of six people on the fourth floor. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, oven with stove, dishwasher, microwave and is fully equipped to whip up a meal or make a frozen cocktail. With families in mind, the dining table seats six. The master bedroom features a king size and a private bathroom. The guest bedroom has two twin bunk beds and a full-size bed with a guest bathroom. Even on vacation, it makes life easier having an inside washer and dryer, linens, beach towels and more. The complex is known for resort-like accommodations to include two pools w/ plenty of seating and shaded areas, shuffleboard, picnic tables and barbeque grills. # Perfect Beach Getaway - 5 Stars!Our week at this New Smyrna Beach condo exceeded all expectations! The unit was spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings throughout. Waking up to ocean views from the balcony was pure magic, and being just steps from the beach made every day effortless.The location couldn't be better - just a short drive to the restaurants and shops on Flagler Avenue, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. We loved having our morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the Atlantic.The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided helpful local recommendations. Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. We're already planning our return trip - this place has become our new favorite Florida destination!Highly recommend for anyone looking for a true beach vacation experience.

Very nice for family trips

Check in was super easy. The unit was clean and well equipped. It is a very nice place to spend time with your family or friends. Great location on the Beach.

A Family Favorite

We have been coming to the Pelican for years and it is always great. This condo unit was great, it was nice booking through VRBO which allowed flexibility of amount of days we could come. We plan to come again! Great spot.

Wedding Vacation

Slight mix up on check in with nobody being in the front office when we arrived. The condo is excellent. Perfect location with beautiful ocean views. Very relaxing week...looking forward to staying again!

Great Accommodations

From the rental, to check-in, stay, and check-out.... all went well... like clockwork. Condo is comfortable and located right on the beach with a great view of the ocean and pool area. Couple comments ... 1) would be nice to have a tv in the second bedroom; 2) recommend getting taller toilets and adding some grab bars next to toilet and in the shower in at least one of the bathrooms to help older people.

Great unit and location

Overall the property is great. View of the ocean is amazing; the balcony is large and inviting (and positioned in the way that is mostly shielded from wind); kitchen is well stocked with tools/pots if you are up to cooking; pantry stuffed with some basics (salt, oil, spices...); coffee machine with coffee pods was a nice surprise; bedrooms were clean with plenty of room for my stuff; the broker managing the property addressed my questions as soon as possible. The building complex has 2 pools - one heated and one unheated. The heat in the heated one was on and off during my stay - not sure if that is standard or a one-off. WIFI in the building is terrible, but the owner installed his/her own network for the apt which worked great (once we had the password). The beach is easily accessible; it is a part that allows cars on it for part of the day. There were 2 things that I would consider might use some improvement for the apt: - floor tiles (and grout in particular) might use some good scrubbing - mattresses in both bedrooms (we used king in the master and queen in the "kids" room) are really soft. Some ppl might like it that way, for my family they were uncomfortable.

Good overall stay. Mechanical issues with A/C that were misdiagnosed at first and Pelican management shut off water and threatened to make us move. Once A/C was properly diagnosed Pelican management took their time turning our water back on, but the VRBO manager kept in contact and helped as much as possible. We didn’t end up having to move, so the interruption was relatively brief. Pelican management were not very helpful to property owners in my opinion.Good condo. As described and very accommodating property manager.

Gorgeous Ocean Views

Lovely property, gorgeous views from the Unit's large balcony. Very nice pool deck and easy ocean access. Only complaints were no shampoo and conditioner in any bathrooms, only one small bar of soap, and only one roll of toilet paper and paper towels...adding these would upgrade the stay.

Great stay in NSB

Such a relaxing stay at The Pelican! I’ve been visiting New Smyrna Beach for over 20 years, and The Pelican is, by far, my favorite home away from home. The property and the condo are well-maintained. It’s very peaceful, and all condos are beach-facing with outstanding views. I’ll stay here again and again. Melynda communicated Information upon arrival and departure, and was available if any issues arose, and I happily had no issues here. Great place for those with children of all ages.

Great stay. Amazing views

We all loved our stay. The pelican is a great complex. Everyone we met was so nice. Very relaxing. The unit was older but was very clean. The living room is very open and the views from the living room and balcony were amazing as advertised. Communication with property manager was quick and helpful. Master bedroom was roomy but the en-suite was small, no area for hair tools, make up etc. shower/tub were fine. Nice to have tub for 3yo. The other bedroom was small but worked ok since we were only there for 4 nights. Kitchen was adequate.

This unit was a great place to stay. My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed a few days in NSB. Clean & had everything we needed. The condo bldg itself is well cared for and in a good location for walking to some of our favorite spots. Would definitely stay here again.

Great beach getaway

The condo ( two bedrooms, and a rollaway) was perfectly comfortable for two couples and our unmarried daughter. The view of the ocean and the sound of the waves is so relaxing. The whole facility is well kept, well built, and secure. We were surprised at check-in that only two parking passes were allowed, but their overflow parking was convenient. We did not know there was driving on the beach, which might matter to a family bringing children. There are a couple of issues with the fridge, a broken shelf and a drawer that doesn’t open, a broken decorative wall light, and the cleaning staff had overlooked some details. But overall we found everything clean, well furnished and lovely. We had a great time and would go back.

Beach Delight!

This condo is ideally located for a great beach getaway convenient to local shops and restaurants while quiet and peaceful in the condo. The view is amazing and the unit very comfortable and stylish . All my expectations were met and more. The Pelican grounds were beautiful , pool, and units well maintained. Lots of parking during May. Great communication with Melynda . Highly recommend.

It is very open and roomy with an updated flare. Image yourself sitting on the beach watching the ocean unfurl while the breeze nourishes your soul. Your mind is at ease and there are no large crowds and vehicles going by, just nature at its best.

Oceanfront complex with 600 feet of beach/oceanfront property is perfect offering an oceanfront pool, which is heated in the winter and shuffle board courts. There are poolside lounge chairs to soak up the sun, large shaded areas to cool off and gas grills throughout.
