Only a 15 minute drive from the gondola at Breckenridge, the houses’ central location provides guests with the added ability to explore other resorts such as Keystone, Copper Mountain, and A-Basin - all of which are located just a short drive away. Free shuttle service to skiing is a five minute drive from the house at Breckenridge golf course clubhouse with plenty of free parking. If you prefer to stay off the slopes you can charter a dog-sledding or snowmobiling excursion with Good Times Adventures, conveniently located just up the road. Walk outside and explore the hundreds of miles of hiking, snow-shoeing, and cross-country ski trails. Cast a line into the Swan River or, better yet, your own, private, spring-fed pond (stocked with trout). Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including moose, foxes, beavers, mule deer, elk, and bears - all of which are frequently seen around the property. At the end of each day, watch as the sun sets behind 10 Mile Range and take-in the unspoiled views of the Milky Way on the back deck. Beautiful Property

The property that this home is set on is breathtaking! It affords amazing views of the river, pond, and mountains. This home was plenty large enough for our family of 11, yet still felt cozy and warm. EXCELLENT and informative communication with the homeowner. Just outside of the hustle & bustle of Breck, but just a short drive into town. Highly recommend!

Breckenridge’s Best!

We can’t say enough good things about our stay in this home. It was absolutely perfect for our three families to truly enjoy a week in Breckenridge. The home is even nicer than the pictures, is fully equipped, and we never felt like we were crowded. The lay out is perfect. We skied, cooked great meals, played games, watched college football, and unwinded in the hot tub. It was truly the perfect place to bring in the new year! We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and this one was the best!

Fantastic Thanksgiving Home

We had three family’s come together here for Thanksgiving and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The house is spacious but cozy and had everything we needed. It was a great trip and we’d certainly consider returning.

A gracious slice of heaven

We absolutely loved our time at Liberty Lodge! It was cozy but spacious, clean and well stocked—it truly had everything we needed. We roasted marshmallows at night out on the deck and listened to the gurgle of the stream nearby in the evenings. Catching and releasing fish in the pond and seeing a moose off the back deck were highlights of our time there for sure! Our host was gracious, kind and funny and made us feel welcome and cared for, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Liberty Lodge for a blessed and relaxing week!

Liberty Lodge is a fantastic place to vacation

We found the perfect place to gather as a family for Christmas. It had all the amenities and more to enjoy the home and nearby activities. The owners focused on making it feel like a “home” and not just a place to sleep and eat. The preliminary work was definitely put in to make the process of check-in and the actual stay so much easier. This takes genuine planning and concern by the owner to make it happen. And the owners of this property are top-notch. I can’t say enough about how beautiful the property was and all the extras we discovered when we got there - games in the closet, many counter appliances, pantry items, and many lovely high-quality blankets, etc. There was nothing overlooked. Although it is a very spacious property, the layout and professional decor made it feel cozy and family-oriented. Thank you David, and everyone else for making our stay a truly memorable experience, not just a trip. We highly recommend this property.

The views, the floor plan and the river enticed us. The privacy and convenience tempted us. That the house was primarily on one level sold us!

What makes this property unique

For us the unique benefit is that this house allowed a family member with mobility issues the opportunity to enjoy Colorado without having to deal with staircases: Only two steps into the house from the garage or porte cochère, and no steps between the house and the deck.
