Francois’ houses in Honfleur – Les Maisons De François à Honfleur LMDFH – are two first-class houses nestled at the heart of Honfleur. I have renovated, furnished, and decorated LMDFH with the greatest care to welcome you.

I personally very often use each of the LMDFH, and I take pleasure to welcome friends and family.

The Tiny House is the smallest LMDFH: inspired from the American "Tiny House", this former workshop of less than 450 sq. ft. has been restored to bring you the comfort of a 2 bedrooms house, for the price of a studio.

We designed it with the help of our architects with great attention to details, both from an equipment and from a design point of view, focusing on space and simplicity.

The house is located in Honfleur city centre, 5 minutes walk from the old harbour: you can leave your car in front of the terrace on the private space which is reserved for you, and walk to the many charms of Honfleur: restaurants, museums, art galleries, gardens, beach, etc. …

The living room on the ground floor opens through a large glass window onto the terrace and the garden, facing South. Outdoor meals will become your daily routine.

You will be able to cook delicious meals in the large kitchen. It is fully equipped, with all necessary tableware and kitchenware and all appliances: induction cooktop, oven, microwaves, dishwasher, combo washer-dryer, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster.

The lounge area is equipped with a large 90” screen projection system with Dolby cinema sound: you can watch a DVD, a BluRay, Netflix, or play with the PS3 console: great entertainment guaranteed!

Copying Honfleur fishermen’s house construction, the narrow spiral staircase will lead you to the sleeping area on the first floor. You will find two separate bedrooms with an open view on neighbour gardens.

For your comfort, no convertibles, but real beds with memory foam mattress: one double queen bed in one bedroom, and twin beds in the other bedroom. They can be transformed into a king bed.
Hangers, shelves, and closet are at your disposal to store your personal belongings.

The bathroom offers with the same inventiveness in the use of space a large shower, a washbasin, toilets, and storage.

Books, DVDs, video and standard games, and a digital piano are at your disposal to entertain your evenings.

For more comfort, the whole house obeys at your fingertips: you can control light, heating, shutters, music, and video from a touch on the provided tablet.

Private parking information: it is located in front of the house, outside the garden. It measures 3.20m x 6m. Access is via a narrow porch (width 2m50) and then you have to manoeuvre to park at 90°. Height limited to 2m60.
As an indication, I can park my Audi A4 without any worries, by doing a few maneuvers.

Stairs information: the Tiny House is a house on 2 floors. There is therefore a staircase, steep and narrow as is often the case in Honfleur's houses. If one of the travellers has difficulty climbing a flight of stairs, we invite you to book a single-storey cottage.

IMPORTANT: From January 26, 2026 to April 17, 2026, the city of Honfleur will be carrying out roadworks on the street leading to the Tiny House. This may occasionally result in the parking lot in front of the Tiny House being inaccessible. In this case, we will reimburse you for parking at the "Parking de l'Est", located at the bottom of the street, at a rate of €6 per day.
