La planta baja está ocupada por una sola persona, el propietario.
en el primer piso, (12 escalones) un conjunto con una entrada, tres habitaciones grandes, dos arriba tienen aire acondicionado, el Marin, planta baja, independiente, no tiene aire acondicionado pero tiene un ambientador con, cada uno , su baño y aseo,
Un gran salón comedor con aire acondicionado y una hermosa vista de los Cevennes.

Cocina muy calada, independiente, climatizada, perfectamente equipada.

Una terraza muy hermosa con salón de verano, comedor de verano, cocina de verano con una verdadera barbacoa de madera, luz de infrarrojos ...
 
Tendrá un aparcamiento cubierto seguro, una piscina privada y un parque con árboles provenzales: olivos, pinos, plátanos, adelfas.

Será recibido por el propietario, nacido en Uzès y muy apegado a su ciudad, que sabrá escucharlo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Alain. His property needs a property management group to keep up with constant changes that develop in a gite operation like this. The region around Uzes is brilliant and there is no better person to direct you there than Alain.

Wonderful time in Uzés

Had a wonderful stay in this summerhouse and our host Alain was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. What ever issue or question we had, he did his best to help, and he was always around but in a very polite way where we felt helped but not overviewed. The houses was cozy and especially enjoyed the evenings in the terrace. The private pool was clean and super for our family of 5. Merci beaucoup Alain

Fantastic, we did not want to leave!

I challenge you to find a better property. If you desire a spacious well-appointed property in a fabulous location, then this is the property for you. Location - you are within a comfortable walk to Uzes centre yet far enough away to not have to worry about being crowded by the Wednesday and Saturday markets. Intermarche is only 2 mins drive if you're looking for a larger supply, otherwise three smaller shops are available in walking distance in the old town. Accommodation - three generous double rooms and plenty of sitting areas, you will never want your own private space. Airconditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, internet, multiple TV's and of course the pool, again in a separate area with its own secluded and generous space. Host - Alain is the icing on the cake, knowledgeable, courteous, discreet, generous with both his time and understanding. He made us feel very welcome and secure. A fabulous holiday home, you will not regret

The host was wonderful. Any issue we brought up, he remedied as soon as possible. The temperature dropped during our visit and we were cold, so he went out and bought us each a brand new comforter. He gave us many lovely gifts throughout our stay and always checked in with us to see if things were okay. He gave us suggestions of things to see and places to eat. He was a pleasure to chat with. Some things to know about the property are as follows:It is very difficult to find the entrance gate the first few times. The third bedroom is downstairs and not connected to the rest of the rental. We chose to all stay upstairs and use the twin bed in one of the bedrooms. Internet did not work when we arrived and was out the last day. We didn’t report the last day because we were leaving. A clog in the shower drain was fixed in two days and he and a friend worked hard on it. The kitchen was fine for cooking meals and the dishwasher worked well. The washer and dryer are separate and both worked well. The cleaning was not fabulous because there were a lot of spider webs on the ceilings, but otherwise things were clean. You could walk to town but it is a long walk, and there aren’t sidewalks everywhere. We chose to make the short drive to the free refuge parking. There were plenty of places to sit inside and the outdoor space was lovely. Again, M. Maurel is a lovely, kind man.

A lovely and well-situated gîte within walking distance of Uzès

This is a delightful place - mature trees, many of which were planted by the owner, surround a small cluster of buildings. The gîte is brand new, and really well designed - we found it the perfect place to unwind. From the moment we arrived, M. Maurel was exceptionally kind and accommodating; his thoughtfulness added greatly to what turned out to be a wonderfully enjoyable stay. The gîte offers first-floor accommodation, up a short flight of stone steps. We were grateful for the air conditioning, clean and well-equipped kitchen, large indoor lounge/dining area and comfortable beds. We probably spent the most time in the ‘outdoor’ part of the gîte; a lovely, light seating and dining area which is part open, part glazed, so it’s full of light. You feel as if you’re outdoors, but it’s nicely sheltered. A wall provides privacy, and you can see across a low rooftop to the beautiful Cévennes mountains in the far distance. We sat in this area a lot, chilling, eating and reading, and seeing some stunning sunsets. When we wanted to swim, we went to the (private) pool area, which is nearby, at ground level. It’s beautifully maintained and looks brand new. There are loungers and good-sized parasols for shade, and plenty of olive trees too. For shopping, you can walk into town, or there is a large supermarket just 3 minutes drive away. There are also markets in Uzès twice a week. We’d really recommend this area, having been several times before. Beautiful countryside, lovely, mellow old buildings, and plenty to keep ‘culture vultures’ happy. Uzès itself is just a 10-minute walk away from the gîte and offers a central square filled with plane trees and with a nice range of restaurants and bars. The central fountain is a natural gathering point, the trees are lit up at night, creating a magical atmosphere, and it’s a great place to sit and watch the world go by. This is a great gîte if you want to explore a beautiful region of France and return to chill and unwind in really comfortable surroundings.

Mr Maurel est très accueillant et très sympathique. Il nous a donné beaucoup de conseils pour les visites et a eu à plusieurs reprises de gentilles attentions. Propriétaire très sympathique, accueillant, attentionné, discret. Très agréable séjour. Appartement au 1er étage, accès à la piscine par l'extérieur après avoir traverser une petite cour intérieure et un bout de jardin et non pas directement de l'appartement... regrettable. Les photos sur le site datent et ne correspondent plus vraiment à la réalité.

Excellent séjour Espace piscine magnifique Uzes à pied !

Nous avons passé une semaine délicieuse dans cette villa atypique très bien équipée. Super climatisation ! Espace piscine très agréable avec possibilité de se mettre à l’ombre des oliviers. Uzes est à pied de la villa ! MR Maurel est sur place mais très discret et extrêmement attentionné. Il a un sens de l’accueil rare.

The kindest of welcomes

We (2 adults and a baby) arrived to a very warm welcome from Alain. He greeted us in person and was incredibly accommodating about our arrival which was at a very inconvenient time. He provided us with information on things to do in the surrounding areas and went out of his way to make sure our little baby was comfortable in a baby bed and with a high chair. It was super hot during our visit and the pool was a great place to cool off - it's completely private and surrounded by trees. That said, the airconditioning was also a fantastic bonus. The kitchen has everything you need - we were able to make some great meals from things we'd bought from the market, and the outside seating area is really convenient and makes it easy to be outdoors as much as possible. As an added bonus, the sunsets are gorgeous. Alain was always great at answering any questions we had and was incredibly generous. We've never experienced that kind of warmth, care and gracious generosity from a host before - I only hope one day we could go back. Merci beaucoup Alain!! :)

Großartiges Quartier für einen Urlaub in Südfrankreich

Die Villa Célina war uns in den zwei Wochen eine tolle Heimat, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir haben alle drei Schlafräume genutzt, also inkl. des zusätzlichen Ateliers, das im Erdgeschoss unter der Ferienwohnung und somit nur eine Treppe von der Terrasse entfernt liegt. Die Räume entsprechen den Bildern. Am meisten haben wir die großartige, schattige, windgeschützte und bedachte Terrasse genutzt. Dort ließ sich wunderbar essen, chillen und spielen (und u.a. deutsches TV gucken). Die geräumigen Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie haben Klimageräte, die sich bedarfsweise einschalten lassen. Die Wohnung heizt sich dank der hohen Bäume im Garten jedoch nicht extrem auf. Die Küche hat alles und sogar mehr als man braucht. Zudem gibt es einen gemauerten Grill und einen weiteren Küchenbereich auf der Terrasse. Supermärkte sind gut erreichbar. Am allerbesten hat uns - nicht nur dem Kind - der Pool gefallen, der tagsüber viel Sonne tankt und ab spätem Nachmittag immer mehr Schatten von den wunderbaren Bäumen ringsum genießt. Er ist groß genug zum schwimmen und wird von Alain sehr gut gepflegt (genauso wie der Garten und das Haus). Wir haben tägliche Ausflüge unternommen, Uzès ist ein sehr guter Startpunkt für Fahrten nach Avignon, Nîmes, Montpellier, die Camargue oder zur Ardèche. Wandertouren verschiedener Länge sind überall an den Flüssen vorhanden. Uzès selbst ist ein sehr schöner, lebendiger Ort und zu Fuß von der Villa aus erreichbar. Das Auto kann man dafür getrost im Schatten im Garten stehen lassen. Alain ist ein wunderbarer Mensch und sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der gerne Tipps zu Ausflügen in seine geliebte Heimatregion gibt. Er spricht sehr gut englisch, so dass wir uns trotz nur Schulfranzösisch gut verständigen konnten. Vielen Dank, Alain, merci beaucoup! Pass auf dich auf und bleib gesund.

Très belle maison avec piscine

Très belle maison avec piscine à Uzès. Une grande terrasse avec cuisine d'été, maison très bien équipée, magnifique jardin, grande piscine et surtout un merveilleux accueil du propriétaire toujours aux petits soins avec de nombreuses attentions. Proximité de lieux de baignade dans le Gardon, de randonnées et surtout de la magnifique ville d'Uzès. Merci encore pour cet accueil.

Un petit coin de paradis

Un séjour exceptionnel dans cet appartement tout confort. Très propre. Spacieux, équipement de la cuisine de bonne facture, climatisation réglable dans chaque pièce, séjour, salon très lumineux, literie confortable. Cuisine extérieure et terrasse très bien aménagées, barbecue, salon d'été. Tout a été pensé et agencé avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine privative, très bien entretenue, entourée d'une plage avec transat, sous les essences odorantes d'arbres et de plantes méridionale. Le propriétaire Monsieur Maurel, très discret, aux petits soins pour ses locataires, est de très bon conseil pour nous aider à découvrir cette magnifique région. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Très bel endroit idéalement situé pour découvrir la région

Très belle maison avec toutes les commodités, air conditionné dans toutes les pièces appréciable par temps de canicule, piscine grande et bien entretenue. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la terrasse et la cuisine d'été. Le propriétaire est très attentionné. Un seul bémol: les moustiques ! Situation idéale pour découvrir la région, se baigner dans le Gard et l'Ardèche, ou aller à la mer.

Tolle Wohnung, toller Gastgeber!

Wir waren zu viert 10 Tage Gast in Alains Ferienwohnung, die im ersten Obergeschoß völlig separiert von seiner im Erdgeschoss ist. Wenn man Fragen hat oder Empfehlungen sucht, kann man sich problemlos an ihn wenden, er spricht sehr gut englisch. Die Wohnung ist 2 Jahre alt, hervorragend ausgestattet und verfügt über einen schönen privaten Pool. Ins Zentrum des wunderschönen Ortes Uzès sind es 15 Gehminuten. Nimes ist in 20 Minuten, Avignon in 40 Minuten zu erreichen. Der nächste grosse Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto 4 Minuten entfernt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Merci bien, Alain!

Belle maison avec piscine à Uzès

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette belle maison, bien équipée avec une belle et grande piscine. Alain, le propriétaire, qui occupe le Rez de chaussée, qui donne de l autre cote de la maison est très accueillant et très discret. Il est très attentif aux besoins de ses visiteurs, quotidiennement et a répondu à nos requêtes et même au delà, avec de belles petites attentions. La maison est très bien équipée avec une terrasse qui donne vue sur le massif des Cévennes et ombragée par des platanes anciens et des cipres. Il y a un barbecue un salon extérieur et une table pour déjeuner à l’extérieur, très agréables. La maison est calme et très fonctionnelle avec cuisine séjour et deux chambres qui ont chacune leur salle de bain. La piscine est bien sûr un tres bel atout de la maison. Elle est elle aussi ombragée et entourée de transats et de table et chaises. Nous avons été ravis de ce séjour et serons heureux de revenir profiter de cette belle maison dans une très belle région, et d une ville magnifique Uzès à moins d un km. Merci encore Alain pour votre accueil !
