Casa Katja, villa with private pool

Casa Katja:
4 bedroom villa with pool, on the prestigious Boavista Golf and Spa Resort in Lagos.

Features include: Air conditioned throughout, a heated* pebble pool with corner entrance steps and dolphin floor design plus pool shower. *Pool heating available at an additional €300 per week.

Electric shutters on all windows. Underfloor heating in all bathrooms. Electric entrance gates with intercom
parking for several cars on the drive.

A large open plan living
dining room with patio doors out to the front and side terrace, a feature stone fireplace with gas fire and dining area for 8 people.

The kitchen is fully fitted and has a door leading out to the private rear lawned garden.



There are also 2 twin bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs.

On the 1st floor are 2 further bedrooms, both ensuite doubles with private terraces.

In the basement / garage which is accessed from the lounge, there is a ping pong table, as well as table football and air hockey.



Outside you will find a selection of outdoor furniture but please note there is no BBQ facility at this villa.



The nearest golf is on right on your doorstep, Lagos Centre just 3.5 km, the beaches of Porto de Mós and Praia da beach are a 5 minute drive and the nearest large supermarket is just 2km away.



This villa would make a great holiday spot for families, friends, golfers and non-golfers alike due to the facilities on the resort and its location withing driving distance of Lagos and Praia da Luz, and a car is a necessity.

Lovely, spacious property, very comfortable and well equipped. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Good kitchen, and a useful large gas bbq outside. Fun basement area with table tennis and air hockey. The outside areas were lovely. We paid for the pool to be heated which was very pleasant. Unusually no pool towels were provided so worth being aware of that when booking. Situated within easy walking distance of the Boavista clubhouse and gym/spa.

Family holiday

7 of us stayed at the property and the experience from booking, communicating with Sarah and the stay were excellent. The villa has everything you could need and is in a great location just minutes from both Praia da Luz and Lagos. We spent a lot of time in Lagos which is lovely, but also used the villa as a base to visit Silves, Albufeira, Vilamoura and Sagres, all of which are easily accessible. Would recommend!

Great Villa, perfect for family in a great location

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the villa. There were four of us so we only really used half the rooms, it would comfortably accommodate 8 people / 2 families of four. It is to a high standard and well furnished throughout. Beds nice and comfortable. We received fresh towels half way through which was a nice and unexpected touch. We both ate meals at the villa, there is a gas BBQ and all the necessities in the kitchen, as well as ate out at various local restaurants. The pool was wonderful and clean, as were the local beaches. We had a couple of small queries durIn the stay and they were all answered quickly. We would definitely come back!

The house is perfect in size and location BUT there was a few challenges that really put a damper on our time there. We could not get the AC to work in the upper bedrooms. It was miserable hot and despite attempts to reach the host he went silent as soon as we told him we had an issue. Needless to say a few in our party got zero sleep during our 5 night stay. Ants! There was tiny ants everywhere. In the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms:-(The home was lacking some basic amenities - 1 garbage bag for 8 people for 5 nights. 1 role of toilet paper per bathroom. 1 towel per person (no pool towels)Overall the home is lovely and a fantastic size for a large group. We have family living immediately around the corner so location was perfect for us. It was clean and well stocked with items such as dishes and cookware. If the AC worked and the ants were not an issue I would have given it a 5 star review.

A very nice property

The property was well located and had everything we needed. A very nice kitchen . Well stocked. Property is a little old and could do with a little update. We had issues with a few things and as we arrived over the easter weekend these couldn't be sorted. This is very unsatisfactory as we never actually met the property manager or received any phone calls. Our problems were dealt with by email only! . Any response came too late in our holiday. Better cover for holiday times and a more personal approach from the manager would be much better.

Beautiful villa in great surroundings

Nice house and good equipments (pool, garden, sunbeds, large garage, AC, kitchen...) located right at the entrance of the great boavista resort. Location near the center of Lagos is a plus. Good communication with the house management team, even we didn't get to meet them.

Great villa - luxury accommodation and gardens

Well appointed villa with all the facilities to make a great stay! Very spacious inside and out with easy access to the resort and surrounding attractions. Highly recommend for a visit to the area. Few little things needed fixing but we were there end of season and didn’t spoil our stay at all.

You Will Love It

From start to finish it was a pleasure communicating with Sarah, nothing was too much or to little. The key holder Joao was brilliant. The pictures do not to justice to a wonderful and very clean property, it has everything you would need for and enjoyable stay. Cleaners come in half way through your stay to clean and change all linen and towels etc. On nights we didn't go out we had some lovely meals in as the gas Bar-B-Q was so easy to use. The only negative is that there it not a shop on the complex. A car is a must the roads are so easy we regret not hiring one. We as a family have rated this villa as the best we have stayed in and would highly recommend it if you are considering a holiday in Lagos. Sarah thank you

Casa Katja

Villa Katja is spacious and well equipped inside. There is no wifi which would have been useful because there was no information about The Boavista Resort, Lagos, attractions and Restaurants. Outside is private. There were insufficient sun beds and umbrellas, no dining table and chairs and no BBQ. This villa is described and priced as luxurious.These items should be considered as a given The management did rectify the matter but a little too late for our benefit.
