Holiday Apartment 2 Via Marconi
Two holidays in one, because here, nature, history and traditions coexist in the simplicity and cordial availability of the people.
Here harmony, two cultures, of land and sea, the luxuriant quiet of the countryside, the joy of the beach, meet and blend in a familiar atmosphere of sincere hospitality.
Mondolfo belongs to a coastal area inhabited since the Eneolithic period, already known in Roman times and also becomes, with the foundation of the very important Abbey of San Gervasio of Bulgaria, the heart of expansion of Christianity for the entire Cesano valley and which preserves the largest sarcophagus in the Marche region of Ravenna. Fortified city on the sea, castle enclosed by a well-preserved double wall curtain reinforced by a mighty bastion, which overlooks the Adriatic coast and the mouth of the Cesano. An important land of the Duchy of Urbino, it experienced great prosperity and well-being in those years, with the construction of noble palaces and churches rich in art, history and faith. Thanks to the construction of the railway line on the nearby coast, commissioned by Pope Pius IX in 1846, the locality of Marotta was able to experience a significant development so as to become today's well-known seaside resort.
