About this property

Hersheypark 3.4 miles-Open floor plan

West End Nest is 3.4 miles to Hershey Park and Giant Center. Our place is a completely renovated vacation home with an open floor plan, 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, located in Hummelstown. With this open concept floor plan, there is plenty of space for everyone to eat a meal together, play games, or watch tv and enjoy each others company. Our town offers shops and restaurants, all within a 1 mile walk. Spend quiet evenings in the private fenced yard or relax on the front porch.

Homes are in close proximity in Hummelstown. We want all of our guests to enjoy their visit. If you are planning on a loud outdoor gathering or socializing outdoors late into the evening, this is not the ideal place to stay. Our place is located in a quiet, residential part of town. Out of respect for the neighbors, outside noise levels must be kept to a minimum between 10pm - 8am.

This home has forced air heat w/ central air and a whole house instant hot water heater, so no cold showers! Also, Fast Wi-Fi and Keyless Entry. Each guest will be provided a unique access code for each stay.

The main living area has original hardwood floors, 9' ceilings and a Large Smart TV with TV Plus and a subscription to YouTube TV. Enjoy the large kitchen with stainless appliances, including a dishwasher, combo 10 cup coffee maker and Keurig, granite counters, a large island that seats four, as well as a large dining table that seats 10! Well stocked cabinets with all of the essentials for meal prep and enough place settings for any large group.

At the end of a long day you can retreat to 1 of the 4 bedrooms which also have Smart TV's with You tube subscription, USB ports and extra blankets and pillows for your comfort. This house is perfect for a large family or multiple families.

BR 1: Queen.
BR 2: Queen + Convertible chair, opens to single bed.
BR 3: Twin Bed w/ twin pull out trundle, connects to
BR 4: which has a Queen + Daybed w/trundle underneath.
Bedroom 4 has it's own door also, so the connecting door can remain closed. There is also a Full Size Sofa Bed in the Living Room.

Both full bathrooms have a tub/shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover pads, hair dryers and plenty of towels for everyone. Half bath and Laundry also have all the necessities.

Enjoy the private, fenced in yard with comfortable seating as well as a gas grill and picnic table to enjoy an outdoor meal!

Convenient access to all Hershey attractions, major highways, HIA, The City of Harrisburg, Tanger Outlets, AACA Museum, numerous wineries and breweries, shops and restaurants in downtown Hershey, local attractions such as Indian Echo Caverns, Adventure Sports and much more!

Our family has stayed at many Vrbos around the country including central PA. The owners of this one have done a great job maximizing every part of the property and being very guest focused with the layout, cleanliness, information, and communication. While the cost was on the high side it turned out to be a good value. We’d definitely stay there again!

The clean/modern house and communication from the owner was so wonderful last year that we came back again this year! Our family does and annual reunion in Hersey and the littles now refer to it as the "Hersey House". We will be back!

Holiday getaway

We were looking for a family get away with extended family to meet halfway between houses. This was the perfect spot to meet up and hang out. The town was cute, quiet, and great to walk around. Hershey was only 5-10mins down the road for whenever we wanted to go there.

The best-equipped VRBO out of 5+ that I have rented! Our group: 6 adults, an infant, 2yr and 5yr old. Plenty of room and layout great. Hummelstown charming! Only downside: train noise.

I highly recommend this rental home. The property was as pictured and described. It was roomy, immaculate and very well stocked. Check in and out was simple. Perfect house for a crowd

This property was perfect! It was stocked with everything you need and super organized. The layout was great - very separate sleeping areas but open living, dining, and kitchen areas. We loved the decorating - it was both modern and cozy. It’s only 5 minutes from Hershey Park and was located in a quaint part of town. We took nice evening strolls and the neighborhood was very quiet. Love love love! Would definitely recommend for families with elementary age kids.

Cozy Home

We visited this property for Spring Break with the kids. Well equipped home and very well thought out. We loved the openness and the fact that there was plenty of room for us all to spread out. The kitchen was great to prepare meals and cook and the grill outback was a bonus. The rooms were perfect as we had two married couples, young girls who loved the bunk beds and a toddler. Lorie was very responsive leading up to and throughout our entire stay. We will definitely keep this home on the list for our next trip to Hershey.

Beautiful Stay in a Charming Town on the outskirts of Hersey

The pictures and bio were very accurate. The host (Lorie) was extremely responsive and sent communications regularly as we approached our stay. Check-in was a breeze and we all loved the home. Very clean and new feeling. The linens were soft and the kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms all had TVs with relevant apps. The bathrooms were modern and felt sanitary. The Main Street location in the tiny town was very charming. In addition to visiting the Hersey attractions, we also walked around locally into shops & restaurants. We enjoyed the visit so much that we may consider coming back next year to that same house. Highly recommend staying at Lorie's "Escape"!

Perfect Gem to come back to

What a lovely experience from beginning to end. Lorie was hands down the best host I have ever rented from. The house is perfectly situated to get an excited family to and from Hershey Park in no time. The house is well maintained, impeccably cleaned and well stocked (think coffee pods, paper products, linens, lotions, soaps, shower needs etc). There were games for the kiddos (and adults) and enough extra linens to keep the coldest sleepers warm. She had everything labeled leaving no guesswork needed. She even had a first aid kit (which is perfect for a mom like me who always forgets bandaids). Lorie was warm and communicative from the second we booked to the moment we walked out the front door. Rent this house, you will not be disappointed. Now if only I could transport this quaint house to every destination I want to go to from now until forever. Thank you Lorie for sharing your place with my family.

We love Hummelstown and have lived here for 26 years. It is a quaint, friendly, walkable town. You can walk to many shops and restaurants (within a mile). It is very convenient to all Hershey attractions and highways if you want to go exploring in Lancaster or Harrisburg.

What makes this property unique

Open concept living area. Perfect for friends and families to be together to cook, socialize, play games, etc. Our place is very well stocked with all of the essentials, cookware, paper products, soaps, etc. All you need to bring is food and your personal items.
