This property really was home away from home. They provided everything you would need for a great vacation. Randy wasn't kidding when he said to pack light. Bring your food and enjoy. Very close to the boat ramps at rathbun lake. The only issue we had was the parking is tight with a boat and 2 vehicles. We made it work. Very nice place and we will surely be back.

This location is close to many great outdoor activities. We love the property which is itself comfy and clean and fully stocked. Hot is awesome and we will return as often as possible.

We continue to stay at Randy’s home away from home because we love it! It’s always so clean and cozy. He keeps it stocked with anything you could possibly need. We love being able to bring our fur babies on family getaways! Highly recommend staying here!!

Our stay at Randy's rental was great! Randy checked in with us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Of all the VRBO properties we have ever stayed in, this was by far the most well stocked and decorated. We found everything from Q-tips in the bathroom to paper goods and ziploc bags in the kitchen. The place certainly felt like a home away from home. If you're visiting Rathbun it's the place to stay!

Our true home away from home

We are so comfortable here, while we are staying we refer to it as going hoe when we are away. Even our dog feels at home and recognizes it when we arrive as a safe place. As usual the location was ready and inviting and we hated leaving.

Favorite stay!!!

We have been staying around Rathbun lake now for around 6 years. This was by far our favorite place we’ve stayed. When it says all you need to bring is food and drinks that’s exactly what it means. Randy goes above and beyond. Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be booking this from here on out if it’s available

Awesome accommodations and perks

Never felt more comfortable in an unfamiliar place and Randy is the host that everyone is looking for when it comes capitalizing on a getaway. We had a good time and will be back again. Just like home. You get the best attention I have ever seen from a host and he is readily available to answer any questions you may have. Had a great time.

Stayed at a second rental of the same VRBO owner we've stayed before. Did not disappoint. Rentals are sooo clean and everything is there that you could possibly need. Communication was great from booking to checking out.

Why they chose this property

This particular property is within an eighth of a mile from my current residence. That makes me readily available for any questions or concerns. I have lived here for 20 years and have great insight on all attractions around the area. It has a wonderful open kitchen that you'll absolutely fall in love with as well as a spacious living room. With a backyard firepit, ( including FREE Firewood) you will enjoy the quietness and not to mention all of the beautiful stars. This is a Pet Friendly property as well.

This is a Pet Friendly Vacation Rental. Fully furnished with above and beyond amenities. Free Coffee, Free Bag of Ice, Free Wine Bar (select varieties), Free Firewood, and Free Snacks. All this at No Extra Charge. I must be crazy...no, I just want you and your guests to have the Best vacation ever. I travel using VRBO myself so, being a great host is very important to me. My knowledge of the area gives you an extra advantage when booking in a new area. The lake is pristine and has so much to offer just like my Vacation Rental. You'll love the open concept of the kitchen and living room not to mention the 2 newly constructed decks. One is covered with outdoor furniture and the other is a large open deck with a table and 6 chairs. You're only minutes away from the boat ramps, beach, boat or jet ski rentals, golf course, and many other things to do while staying here.
