This is one of those reviews that is almost impossible to respond to well but we certainly sympathize with the guest because of the absolutely terrible weather they had almost all week. They stayed 7 nights and I think it rained 5.5 days they were there. The bottom deck did have a board fall, as seen in the photos posted by the guest. It fell on Memorial Day May 25, 2026 at about 4pm. There was a literal Tornado Warning for that area and bad thunderstorm that absolutely dumped rain most of the day. The guest called us about 4pm about water being blown through the upstairs door by high winds, our maintenance guy was there before 5:15pm that day so in under 1.5 hours. While he was there, the board downstairs fell. It fell because the cavity was filled with water due to the high amount of rain. While he was there he cleaned it all up and it was usable by 6pm. We gave a full nights refund, but the deck, grill, etc. were completely usable the entire week outside of maybe 2 hours total during which there was a Tornado Warning. So we really couldnt even justify one free night as there was no loss of use of anything, it was just terrible weather. The living room furniture has been updated with new furniture and we'll get new pictures asap. But it sits the same amount of people and is an upgrade. We definitely hate that the weather was terrible all week and we know how frustrating that can be on vacation!

We are happy we could fix any issues from your stay!We do have clear directions for the elevator abundantly around the area and the HVAC issue as been address. Because of the Covid shut down in March and the nice weather hit in May. The system went from cold to hot without being used. Therefore, the system not having enough time in between! We have fixed them and replaces the issues. We look forward to your future stay!

Thanks so much for staying with us! We definitely clean the grill between guests! Very sorry if we may have missed it this time but our grills do have grill brushes and we would have been more than happy to come by and clean it for you, cleaning it takes just a couple of minutes to turn it on and get hot and a couple brushes with cleaning brush. Very easy for one person to make something like bbq and get it very messy. Thanks again!

This is the first time we heard anything including calling upon departure to check on the stay and any maintenance items! Unfortunately we have no idea what the pans or bathroom issues were as we were never told! But we would have been happy to replace any pans that needed it, non stick pans do get abused and we replace them every winter but sometimes they need it more often! The elevator complaint is odd for sure as when we arrived to do the housekeeping it was stuck between floors and the manual shut off button was pushed, this is a user error. We were never told! It’s likely this was done by a child on accident and we could have come and reset it. But without knowing I’m not sure what else we could have done! Thanks again!

Thanks so much for staying with us and we always appreciate guest feedback! The unit was completely remodeled 3 years ago so everything in the pictures is 3 years old or newer! We are certainly disappointed you feel differently! In regards to the AC, it is extremely frustrating that the entire story was not mentioned. Yes, unfortunately Simona and her family had an HVAC issue during their stay. Both units are only 2 years old! The Condenser/ outside unit for the upstairs had a part go bad under warranty as it was only 2 years old, but the part was 7-10 days out to be ordered and installed so instead we had a brand new outside HVAC unit at a cost of $4000 to be installed asap. The HVAC company arrived on Friday to install the unit and talked to Simona and her family, and of course they ordered the wrong size. This was clearly explained to Simona, by both the HVAC company and our company. When we first found our the HVAC was going to be a couple days, we immediately brought a portable AC for the 1 bedroom and another for the window on the main floor. The main floor was kept at 70 degrees or under the entire stay. Unfortunately she is right the master bedroom was not great, but there was nothing else we could do unfortunately and we did make this right with them at the end of their stay. The downstairs AC just had clog which is a normal and routine maintenance item, it was fixed immediately and in under 3 hours of being notified was back to working normally, It certainly gets 68 degrees if needed! Both items have been fixed and the HVAC's are both 2 years old or newer still, and work great! Again we certainly wish these would never happen but with them being under 2 years old it was certainly not something anyone could have expected or prevented! Thanks again and we hope you return!
