A nice rustic place to spend a few nights. Thanks Myles for attending our Nativity Gallery, in New Denver.

What am amazing, historic home in an amazing location! The house is old but fully equipped, located right beside a stream at a historic site, a ghost town high in the BC hills. Don’t expect modern niceties like cell service or multiple bathrooms, but do expect character and charm!

This was our second stay at this marvelous property. If you enjoy getting away from it all, surrounded by the beauty of the Kootenays, this is an excellent option. The house is well appointed with everything you need, it is clean and comfortable. The yard is amazing. We enjoyed hiking, golfing, and the nearby lakes. We would love to come again.

We had a great time at this little house, perfect location for a quiet vacay and lots of well-maintained hiking trails on old railbeds in close proximity to explore. Good stock of kitchenware made cooking a breeze and living areas were comfortable with a wood stove to make things cozy.A few quirks with the steep and uneven stairs to the bedrooms and vintage kitchen sink with the leaking faucet. We would have appreciated some comfy lawn chairs and a patio umbrella in addition to the existing picnic table in order to fully enjoy the nice backyard next to the creek. We loved that it was quiet, there was no tv/cell service, and there was a huge stock of books and games to enjoy. We’d stay again!
